I roll over when I hear my alarm go off. "Ughh, school," I groan.

My name is Wyatt Brown and I am in 6th grade. I'm the typical nerdy girl who everyone bullies. Its pretty bad. No one knows I cut. Not even the two friends I do have. They've seen me wear long sleeve shirts so much, they don't question it. Unlike some of the other girls, I have a large chest and rear.  My lower body doesn't match my face.

Sighing, I roll out of bed to get ready for the day. I drag myself to the bathroom and stare at the mirror. I'm not ugly like Sabrina, who never even takes a shower, but I'm certainly not the prettiest girl in my grade. My mom says I need to wait, but I hate waiting for things.

"If only Jeremy would notice me," I thought as I brushed my teeth.  Jeremy Hubbard was probably one of the most popular boys if not the most popular boy in 6th grade. If you were friends with him, you were liked by everyone. I'd had a crush in him since 4th grade when he caught me when I fell off the monkey bars. I looked into his sea green eyes and fell in love.

I shook my head, snapping myself out of the memories. I spit out my toothpaste and began brushing my hair. I have really long, silky brown hair that went to my waist. It is a hassle but I couldn't imagine cutting my hair. After I brushed it, I put it up in a long braid.
Walking out of the bathroom, I made my way to my closet. I picked out my most flattering long sleeve shirt, a black laced, low v-neck, and pair of ripped jeans.

I pulled on my clothes, put a jacket on to cover my shirt so my mother doesn't freak out, grabbed my backpack and walked into the kitchen.

"Good morning, sweetie," my mom greeted me.  I kissed her cheek and watched her cook.
"What are you cooking?" I asked. She smiled and said,"Smell the air. Don't you smell it?"

I took a deep breath. "Chocolate chip and peanut butter chip pancakes again?"

Mom raised an eyebrow. "Again? At least I cook for you."
"I know, I know. Im kidding mom," I said, laughing.

I quickly ate my pancakes and waited by the door. I have to ride the bus because the school is too far away for my mom to drive or walk.  I pulled out my phone and scrolled through Tiktok. I looked through the people I followed and found Jeremy's page. His latest video was of him doing backflips on a trampoline. I laughed and liked his video. He doesn't even know I follow him.

Suddenly, the bus honked its horn. Jumping up, I hurried to the door, shoving my phone in my pocket. Making my way to the back, I plopped into a seat, thinking this bus drive would be normal and boring.
It wasn't.
