The bus breaks shrieked to a stop outside of the school. Jeremy waited for the other kids to get off and stood up. I stood up with him. Getting off the bus, I hurried to the cafeteria. I was yanked to an abrupt stop and fell.
"Dude, what the hell!" I said, getting up and spinning around, expecting one of Jeremy's friends.
It wasn't. I looked into Jeremy's eyes and struggled to stay mad at him but his eyes...it was hard to.

"Look, I'm sorry. What I did was wrong. And I don't expect you to forgive me. But I hope that over time, maybe we could become friends." He blurted out quickly.

I blinked, surprised. The most popular boy in my grade wants to be friends with me?
"I'll think about it," I replied slowly. He smiled, "Thats all I ask."
"Oh, and Wyatt?" He said as I turned away.
"Yes?"
He gently brushed my hair back away from my face and pulled a stick out of my hair, "don't want you going into school with a stick in your hair."
I couldn't help it, I giggled. "See you in 3rd block Jeremy"

I walked into 2nd block reluctantly. Instantly, the boys started looking at me and laughing. "Oh look! Its fatty!" They said.
I looked away, tears in my eyes.
"Aw are you crying," They taunted, "crybaby."
I sat down and looked away, tears running down my face.

Time jump

The bell rang, signaling the end of 2nd block. I hurried out, only to be sho against the wall.

"Meet me by the bathroom in 30 minutes," Josh said threateningly, "if you don't I'll make your life even worse. Understand?"
I nodded, terrified. When Josh told you to do something, then you did it. Thats how it was.

I walked into 3rd block, dreading what was about to happen.
