Summary: Striker encounters Samantha with a child and things happen.

Dexter and Samantha

Striker got off Bombproof once he entered Pride in an alley. In the alley, he saw Samantha.

"Hey, Samantha," he greeted, tipping his hat.

"Hi, Striker," she replied.

"What are you doing out here by yourself?"

"I found something you should see." She uncovered a blanket, revealing a small, plain looking hellhound child with brown fur, light brown muzzle, brown nose, red eyes with white irises, a green shirt, and blue pants.

Striker snarled. "What the hell is that thing?"

"Striker, what has gotten into you?" Samantha demanded, surprised by her friend's change of attitude.

"Get rid of that hideous thing! I don't want him near me! He's weak and pathetic!"

The wolf pup whimpered at the cowboy's insults.

"Can't you at least help me find a home for him?"

"No, but was he alone?"

"Yes. What if your wife, Kore, wants to have a child? Have you even thought of that?"

"Well, then she'd be better off having it without me. The only reason I acted weird about the fact she was having a baby was because I had to find the right words without hurting her feelings, but now, I can care less about having a kid." Then, he cruelly blew a raspberry at the child, who recoiled with fear.

Still feeling betrayed by Striker's hurtful words, Samantha continued, "Then, maybe you shouldn't be a father because after the shitty things you said to me and about this pup here, then I don't want to see you again. I helped you escape from the overlords you dealt with in the past and this is all I get in return?!"

Having enough of Striker's attitude towards him and Samantha, he blew a raspberry back at him, making him growl and Samantha smiled and laughed with satisfaction over her ex-friend's anger.

As punishment for her ex-friend's selfish and uncaring behavior, she used her magic to turn him into a bratty child, so he knew how the young hellhound felt.

"Take me home NOW!!!" the toddler version of Striker shrieked.

"No," Samantha sneered.

The younger Striker snarled and hopped angrily on the ground. "YOU FUCKING BITCH!"

Samantha smirked as she changed him into his regular self. It took a moment for him to check himself to realize he was no longer a child, but back in his adult-self.

Samantha looked back at her traitor, flipping the bird. "So long, fuckface."

...

It took Samantha a few hours to see if anyone wanted to bring the hellhound pup in, but they rejected him. After a while, she sighed.

"It's just you and me, bud," she said gently, "If they don't want to adopt you, I will because I love you."

The pup whimpered happily.

Then, Samantha had to think of a name for this pup if she was going to adopt him. After a moment, she finally said, "I'll call you Dexter." She cradled the child in her arms, which smiled tenderly at the name she picked for him.

AN: I know some of you will find this out of character, but I don't care. It's my headcanon.

Like in canon, Striker wouldn't hesitate to belittle those who are weaker than him. For example, I headcanon him mocking kids sometimes like calling them weak and pathetic and blowing raspberries at them. Striker is repulsed by the hellhound pup's "hideous" appearance and calls him a "homely" orphan, which hurts the pup's feelings and the former immaturely blows a raspberry at the latter.

Also, I don't want any comments saying, "I don't like how you're portraying Striker in this" because I find it rude, unless you want the same thing to happen to you. You'd be mad, too, wouldn't you? Because if you don't like something, don't look at it.

I know, some of you will be thinking Dexter is no better than Striker by blowing a raspberry at Striker back, but this is payback for Striker to know what it feels like.
The hellhound pup does it back at him, making him growl. This amuses Striker's ex-friend, Samantha.
