bruce pushes me in front of him to walk faster

i turn around and walk backwards

" we're good, tomorrow we're gonna go to the drive in so you have to stay home " he says

i land on my back and the wind gets knocked out of me
i hear bruce laugh and then stand over me

i take it and he helps me up

he scoffs and laughs

i get off my bed and sneak to the front door
bruce said ' i'm not letting you go out because you won't come home till 12 '

i'm turning the door knob
" what are you doing " i hear bruce says from behind me

i turn around
" just checking the mail " i say nervously laughing
" mail ? " he asks

i roll my eyes and sigh
i walk over to the couch and sit down
" fine i was going to go to my friends house " i say

" you were going to go to finneys blake's house ? " he asks confused
