Being face to face with Nyah, I knew I had to tell her what I've known for quite some time now. Knowing that I hurt her in the past, I wanted to try to do things different this time around.

I knew about Q's ex, Dennise. I also knew about the child she had by him. So seeing him at the McDonald's today with her was no surprise. That's up until I realized I didn't know he knew about her yet. Last time I spoke to Dennise, she mentioned Q knew nothing about Quadira, but soon planned to tell him about her. Guess she finally did.

When I asked Nyah about him having a niece or something, I could peep the confusion on her face before she played it off. That right there showed me that she had no clue about Quadira. So seeing her in the back room of the salon having what looked like an anxiety attack, I knew something was going on with my cousin, and it was time for me to tell her what I knew to save her anymore heartbreak.

"Look Nyah. I know we had a rough past. I didn't have no care in the world for your feelings at the time. I regret what I did to you every day. Which is why I want to be real with you about something."

The look she gave me was similar to the look she gave me all those years ago when she revealed she knew about me and Kori having sex, the night before. I could see her fist ball up, so I got right to the point before her fist connected with my face.

"Q has a daughter by his ex." I blurted out. Nyah looked at me confused. "Excuse me?"

I then went on to tell her about Dennise and how long I've known about her and Quadira. I automatically regretted it after she told me how fucked up I was for just now telling her, and how I was still the same trifling bitch. She even fired me. I tried to explain myself but she wasn't trying to hear it. So respectfully, I grabbed my things and left her salon.

I only been back for 2 month now. I've known Dennise since back when she was dating Q. Me and my cousin wasn't talking at the time, and she wasn't yet in Q's life.

When I came back and she offered me a job, it wasn't until a couple weeks later that I found out she was now dating him. At the time, I didn't think nothing of bringing up Q's ex and the daughter he knew nothing about. But after seeing him with Quadira today, and noticing the signs with Nyah, I felt like now was the best time to tell her.

I didn't expect to lose my job in the process though. But I understood my cousins grudge towards me.

Getting in my car and pulling off, I headed straight to Wawa since it was the only thing open around this time. I pulled up to the pump to get some gas when a text from my little sister Tes came through, asking me where I was. I sighed out of frustration thinking about all that girl has put me through since she moved with me. I didn't even bother replying. I'll see her when I get home.

After I finished pumping my gas, I headed into the Wawa and walked right over to one of the machines where you can place an order for food and drinks. Last time I was here I tried their new pulled pork sandwich and been craving one ever since.

After putting in my order and grabbing my slip, I headed over to the freezer section where the drinks were, and grabbed a Mtn Dew Melon.

Wawa was a fast paced gas stop store where they had everything you needed. You'll also 9/10 run into a familiar face almost every time you go. Just as expected, I peeped my first familiar face and instantly grew irritated. It was Dennise a.k.a the ex of my cousins boyfriend, who's the reason why I was just fired less than an hour ago.
