Discovering Disney Movies Part 1

TF_Arcee had this idea for an RP but let me use it for a one-shot instead. This one-shot takes place during season 2 of Rescue Bots Academy. My OCS Ricky, Tracy, and their Uncle Mace will be in this, too.

The Recruits walked out of their status pods and weren't feeling well. They didn't know what was wrong, so they just fought through it and went to meet up with their mentors. Tracy and her twin brother Ricky weren't feeling too hot this morning either, but neither wanted to stay in bed. Ratchet stops in front of their room and sees their feverish faces as they walk out the door.

"Are you two feeling okay?" Ratchet asks.

"Yeah, I'm good, just allergies," Tracy says.

"Same here," Ricky says.

"Nice try, you two," Ratchet says as he kneels in front of them, "I think the fever is getting to the both of you," Ratchet says, placing one of his fingers on the twin's foreheads.

"Fine, we might be sick, but you don't have to worry about us," The twins say, swatting Ratchet's finger away.

"You two need to go back to bed and rest," Ratchet says.

"We will later," The twins' reply, heading to the lounge area.

Meanwhile, with Hotshot and Heatwave, they are doing a training exercise by the pool. Heatwave has a rescue dummy sitting on a raft in the middle of the pool and had Boulder create a machine to create whirlpools. After explaining to the recruit what he had to do. He pressed the button on a remote then whirlpools surrounded the raft.

"Okay, Hot Shot, you can start whenever you are ready," Heatwave says.

"Okay, HW," Hot Shot says.

Hot Shot jumps into the air to transform into his Jet mode but goes into his ATV mode instead. The recruit was able to react quickly enough to go back into bot mode and belly-flop when he hit the water.

"Hot Shot, are you alright," Heatwave asks as he holds out his hand to help Hot Shot out of the pool.

"Yeah, HW, I'm good," Hot Shot replies, batting his mentor's hand away and exiting the pool by himself.

Heatwave is worried, noticing steam come off Hot Shot's body. The senior rescue bot is glad he's used to being around fires after he catches Hot Shot in his arms after the recruit faints from his core temperature rising as fast.

"HW, thanks for the save," Hot Shot says as he tries to stand up but falls back down a few seconds later,

"Take it easy, and try to power down for a bit. I'll take you to see Ratchet," Heatwave says.

At the track, Wedge and Bumblebee are about to do the same stunt he did with Hot Shot the day Bumblebee asked him to teach Wedge how to drive fast. This time Bee was going to drive the loop while Wedge jumped the ledge. Bumblebee has this feeling in his spark that something is wrong with Wedge when he doesn't jump into the when he reaches the edge and drives off. The Autobot transforms and runs over, then catches Wedge in mid-air after the recruit transforms into bot mode. After landing, he sets Wedge on the ground and kneels in front of him.

"Wedge, what's wrong? Your readings say that your energon levels are already low, and we haven't done anything yet, plus it says your core temp is rising," Bee says.

"I'm sorry, Bee, I felt like this when I got out of my pod this morning," Wedge says.

"It's fine, but training is done for today," Bee says, turning around and telling Wedge to climb on his back. "we need to take you to see Ratchet,"

"What are you doing, Bee?" Wedge asks.

"Tracy told me it's what humans call a piggyback ride," Bee says.

Wedge didn't know what a piggyback ride was, but his body didn't want him to walk, so he slowly climbed into his mentor's back. Then Bumblebee heads inside to take Wedge to see Ratchet.

In the medical bay, Hot Shot is inside a statis pod to help bring his core temperature down and his energon levels back to normal.

"Ratchet, what's wrong with him?" Heatwave asks.

"Not sure, but I'll know once Hot Shot's test results come back," Ratchet says.

"Ratchet, I need your help. Wedge is burning up," Bee says as he walks into the room.

"Wedge is sick too," Heatwave says.

"What do you mean too?" Bee says as Heatwave takes Wedge off his back.

"Hot Shot was burning up when he climbed out of the pool during our training this morning," Heatwave says as he takes Wedge to a statis pod.

A few seconds later, Blades, Chase, and Grimlock sprint into the medical bay, holding their respective recruit in their arms.

"Ratchet, you can help them, right," Blades asks.

"Yes, I have a hunch that they all might have the same thing Hot Shot has. For now, get them into a statis pod, then I can run the same test I did on Hot Shot to make sure," Ratchet says.

Once all the Recruits were in their statis pods, Tracy and her brother decided that they were sick of well feeling sick and begrudgingly walked to the medical bay.

"Ratchet, I noticed that Tracy and Ricky didn't look good. They didn't get what the recruits have, did they?" Blades asks.

"No, Blades, I'm sure whatever the recruits have, it can't be transferred to the humans," Ratchet says.

"So, what is wrong with them, " Chase asks.

"I'm not sure, but I made a new friend that can help us," Ratchet says.

Then Tracy and Ricky's uncle Mace Rameriz walks up.

"Hi, I'm Dr. Mace Rameriz; I'm a Pediatrician," Mace says.

"What's a Pediatrician," Boulder asks.

"It's a doctor who manages the physical, behavioral, and mental care for children from birth until age 18," Tracy says as she and her brother walk in.

"Yes, since my sister and I are eighteen, we need to see a doctor for young adults, so he doesn't need to help us," Ricky adds.

"You two may be young adults, but I'm the only doctor here at the moment certified to work on humans, so you two are stuck with me," Mace says.

"Fine," the twins say.

"Where did the twins get their sense of humor from anyway?" Blades asks.

"Mom," the twins say.
