♣Prologue♣
I walked down the path, twisting and turning. Black trees surrounded me on every side, and I shivered. I didn’t want to be here, but my brother had requested my presence. I held my breath and looked around. His house had to be close. I heard rustling in the bushes. I had been hearing it since the beginning. It was like someone was following me. I tried to steady myself, and looked around again. No one was there.
“Why must my life suck?” I whispered. “Little Red, the girl with crushed dreams and a crappy life.”
I brought my bright red cloak around me like a shield. My green eyes travelled around, but I almost sighed in relief when I saw a small cottage. Brother… I thought. I hated him with every fibre in my body, but I was relieved at the moment. I ran to the door and opened it slowly. While I walked inside, I saw a glimpse of something grey…A wolf? No…It looked like a human.
I shrugged it off and walked inside. Something terrible awaited me, but it was inside, in the form of my brother.
