I walked back to the cave, my fresh kill on my back. I hoped that Red would eat it. Actually… I thought. What I really hope is that she does not get a disease or something from it… It was true. She had probably never eaten raw meat like this in her life. Maybe I would cook it for her.

“Hey, Red.” I called as I walked into the cave. “I am back, with food for us!”

There was no reply. Not even a whisper. It was odd. Where is she? I asked myself, feeling my stomach tie itself up into knots. She had to be here. I sniffed the air. Her scent was there, but not fresh enough for her to actually be in the cave. I was about to go outside when my nose caught the whiff of something else.

“Kita?” I asked nobody in particular.

I stood there, staring at nothing specifically, until it all came together.

“Fucking Bitch!” I cried, clenching my fists. “She took Red!”

My arms were trembling and my blood boiled. I dropped my kill on the ground and ripped off a chunk of its flesh. Gulping it down, I leaped outside, not even bothering to clean the blood out of my fur. Dashing through the snow, I followed Red’s scent. It was almost impossible, with the snow covering the ground, washing away the smells. I growled, only loud enough to hear myself. She has gone too far this time! I cried out in my head. This time she will pay.

I opened my eyes, revealing another cave. It was a cave, but it was very different from Artie’s. The walls and floor were covered in plush pink and precious looking stones.

“W-where am I?” I asked groggily. “What happened?”

A smooth giggle came from behind where I was…standing? I pulled my wrists, which were suspended above me. They wouldn’t budge. Oh my god! I thought. I’m chained to the wall! I felt like crying. Fear and confusion welled up in my thoughts and I tried harder to get free.

“I’m afraid you won’t be going anywhere, my dearest Red.” The seductive voice said. “You’re stuck.”

I turned my head to face my assailant. Her bright silver fur shone radiantly, and I recognized her as the wolf woman from the woods. Her mouth was curled in a cruel smile, ready to mock and make fun of the poor little girl chained to the wall.

“That dress you’re wearing…” She growled. “It’s not yours!”

Using an extended claw, she ripped the top of the dress. Without anything to keep it up, the dress fell to the ground leaving me completely nude. I could see my pale skin, covered in red scars that trailed across my body. I didn’t let it phase me.

“Go ahead,” I cried rebelliously “Take it. It’s ugly anyway.”

Even through her silvery fur, I could see her face turning red. She snarled and circled around me.

“Well what about this?” She asked, fire burning in her eyes. “Is this ugly enough to shred?”

She traced her claw around the red hood still around my neck. I glared at her, daring her to touch it. If she even ripped a thread of the cloak, I would find a way to destroy her. She smirked and drew her claws across the fabric. She pulled her hand back.

“We’ll save that for later.” She whispered in my ear. Her breath tickled the side of my face. “For now, I’ll have to entertain myself with you. The things I’m going to do…”

She pulled out various things from a drawer behind her. A whip, broken pieces of metal and glass, and branding iron. I squeezed my eyes shut, and braced myself. I had been through all of this before, and I let her know it.

“You don’t scare me!” I cried cheekily, although tears were forming in my eyes. “I’ve endured this my entire life!”

But still… I thought. I wish Artie was here to save me!
