THIS IDEA IS SO CUTE! i definitely had to do it! thank you so much for the request i hope you like it :)

this is when my obsession with cats come in handy!

this is what shadow looks like! :)

i walk into the kitchen with groggy look on my face. i had just woken up to the screams of puffer while he was recording. i turn to go to the fridge but something catches my eye. a black cat is at the back door meowing. i instantly take it in and he is super friendly.

"hi buddy do you have a home?"

he meows and rubs against my hand. gosh he is so adorable. chris comes out with a plate and looks at me.

"no, don't even ask me"

"please baby! you know how much i love cats" i pout

"no you're taking it to the shelter tomorrow since it's closed today" he says and walks back to his office.

"i'm going to call you shadow, shadow do you want to make a plan with me to win your future dads heart"

he meows loudly. that's a good boy i pet his head.

i put shadow on the couch with me as i order some cat essentials and have them delivered the same day.

"(Y/N) YOU DID NOT JUST ORDER CAT FOOD"

oops i forgot i used his card instead of mine. it's fine he will get over it i roll my eyes and pet  a sleeping shadow. i end up falling asleep with him in my lap.

chris pov:

i don't want a cat. those things are so annoying. i hear my office door creak open and i see the cat walk up to me and jumps on my lap.

"hey dude you know i don't like you right?"

he meows and lays there anyway. after some time of me recording the cat jumps up on my desk right in front of the camera.

"did you get a cat puffer?" nelson asks laughing

"no, (y/n) found it outside and i want it gone by tomorrow" i say

"but he is so cute though, now i want a cat"  max says

"you can have this one" chris says

"no he can't" i hear (y/n) say as she picks him up

"come on shadow" she says

"you already named him?!"

"yes, because we're keeping him" she looks at me sternly

"no (y/n) you know i don't like cats" i say

shadow jumps down and jumps on me again curling up into a ball.

"oh come on" i laugh

"see he likes you" she says

shadow lifts his head up looking at me in the eyes meowing and licks my arm. okay i will admit that was cute.

"ugh fine we can keep it"

she jumps up and down kissing me.

(y/n)s pov:

it's now been a couple weeks and shadow and chris are best friends. i'm watching him stream on the tv as i see shadow laying in his couch in the background. shadow wakes up and meows running to chris and jumping on his desk

"are you needy for attention now shadow" he says as he pets shadow. shadow looks directly into the camera and meows and sniffs the lens making chris laugh. shadow jumps into his lap from the desk.

"alright then i guess you're laying on lap for the rest of the stream" he says

chat explodes calling chris out about how he has said for years that he hates cats. and how he promised he would never get one.

"okay chat listen you can blame (y/n) for this she loves cats but shadow showed up at out back door and she took him in"

i burst through the door.

"don't you dare blame me chris for that, from what i remember you wanted shadow gone the next day. but shadow laid on you and licked your arm AND YOU EVEN ADMITTED IT WAS CUTE" i say laughing

"i still hate cats chat, i just have an exception for my fur baby shadow"
