it's been almost four months since I escaped Devon. I couldn't be any happier. I honestly don't know how it happened but Nelson and I ended up together. and Emily is officially my daughter. I'm just cuddling with her on the couch watching movies when I hear Nelson yell at his game making Emily and I flinch. we lock eyes and she hugs me.

"I know mommy that he would never hurt us we just have to get used to it with time," she says

"I'm the one who is supposed to comfort you silly," I say hugging her back

"I just feel bad because I feel like you had to grow up so fast," I say looking into her eyes

"I wouldn't change it though, I would go through it all again because I know I would have you," she says

"And I know my real mom is glad it's you, I mean after all you were best friends" she continues

"I know Emily I hope she is proud of me," I say sighing

"I know she is mommy, I mean even after everything you still put me first"

"Can we see daddy?"

I gasp

"you've never said that before," I say

"I know, but I'm comfortable calling it now because of how he treats you and me"

"I know baby he truly loves us huh, something you and I thought would never happen"

we get up from the couch walking to Nelson's office cracking the door open. he is recording a video with the guys.

"Daddy!" Emily yells running over to him

"How are you doing sweetheart," he says picking her up and setting her on his lap

"I'm really good"

"wait you called me daddy," he says looking back at me

"I know, I'm comfortable with it now because I know you love mommy and me," Emily says hugging him

Nelson gets all teary-eyed and hugs her back. I walk over and wrap my arms around them both. Max takes a screenshot and posts it to Twitter making everyone freak out.

"Sure!" Emily and I answer

a couple of hours later he starts stream with me sitting next to him with Emily in his lap.

"hey chat! I have a couple of special people with me for a long time waiting for this q&a!"

Emily and I smile and wave at the camera.

"This is my beautiful girlfriend (y/n) and daughter Emily and yes I know she isn't biologically mine but I love her just as much," Nelson says hugging Emily

"I love you, daddy," she says

Nelson's face lights up with excitement

I can't help but smile.
