"For you my Queen, anything."

Suddenly, the world went dark. Her consciousness slipping. Her feet barely keeping her upright. Everything was spinning, then, it stopped.

Moments later, she regains consciousness.

Clouded mists surrounded the area. Jolts of magic appeared left and right.

Cereus, being unconscious, gets back up. She places her hand on her head. Dizzy, her vision blurred.

She could not comprehend what was happening. Nothing was clear. Everything around her, was mist.

A waking voice in her head screams, "Cereus!"

Cereus, snaps back to reality.

The moment she woke up she directly remembered being beside her husband.

"EVAN! By the moon, Evan where are you?!"

Getting back up on her feet. She was filled with adrenaline. She runs around the fog of mist, searching for her husband.

While running she stops. She could not find him. She takes very fast breaths, and slows down. She realizes that she's panicking.

Taking very deep breaths instead.

"Collect yourself Cery.", she says, calming down.

She was helpless. Moonlight was unable to reach her. She was defenseless. The mist seemed as if it was specially made for her.

Her magic couldn't get very far. It was dampened. Someone who conjured this mist made it so it specifically blocks the moon.

"Think Cery think. Where could they be, what can you do."

She stops for a brief moment.

Under all the stress. She looks down, and remembers she is with child.

"The baby. I had forgotten. Oh. How could things be so dire at this time around."

She paced herself. Remembering she carries a baby within her womb. She cannot afford to hurt her.

Slower movements, still running, but in a slower manner.

She tries listening for the battle. Hoping she could hear a grunt or a scream or anything that indicates they were battling.

"Come on Evan. Where are you."

While listening for an indication of battle. A jolt of magic passes her.

The jolt of magic passed by her quick. It gave a loud sound and was very destructive. It went by an inch pass her ear, shocking her. She observed it very carefully. Magic of black color, deadly and extremely poisonous. Black magic was a unique color for one to possess indeed.

She was startled. Offensive magic came flying at a direction behind her.

She looks back and there was a trail left behind. It had black lines and was clearly visible.

Lost in her thoughts, she had no time to be startled. She quickly recollected herself.

Trusting her instincts. She ran to where the magic appeared.

She ran quick and fast this time. Screaming his name. Desperate to see where her husband was.

"EVAN!! Please where are you?!"

She kept running and screaming until... she heard his voice.

"Cery, RUN AWAY."

Cereus ignored what he said. Despite the enlarged womb. She kept running. She ran gasping for air. Sweat dripped and dripped continuously from her body.  Her robes, muddy. She did not care. She needed to see her husband.
