I just don't know why I'm unable to keep my head off her, I don't use to feel like this for anyone after my first heart break nd I've decided not to love again, reason why I stopped associating with girls, but why is this girl different or maybe I should have a cold shower

Linda's P.O.V

It was a calm evening, I just returned from the class, I had to call Raymond back cuz I wasn't able to answer his phone earlier nd he picked up on the first ring
"Hi" I greeted over the phone
"Hi baby, I've called you earlier but you aren't picking up"
"Yeah, I was in the class then, so what's up"
"I'm good, I want to pay you a visit tomorrow"
"Oh, really"
"Yes, really"
"Okay, I'll be expecting you"
"Alright baby, see you tomorrow"

Sophia walked in as I ended the call, our relationship have gotten strong nd we're best of friends nw, we did almost everything together, she's a very good girl, well brought up, kind nd she's always wearing smile on her face nd she was a great cook if I must say, she's always in charge of our cookings
"Hey babe when did you arrive" she said with a smile
"Not too long nd how was your outing"
"I'm good, thought you're on call earlier"
"Yeah, it was Raymond he said he's coming to visit tomorrow"
"Oh, I can't wait to see him, I need to confirm everything you've said about her" she said smiling
"Yeah, he'll also be glad to meet you too, I've told him a lot about you"
"Baby, I'm famished, I'll be in the kitchen" she said nd left for the kitchen i should have Join but she won't let me do anything so i decided to take a nap.

Charles P.O.V
It's been awhile since I met that girl nd no matter how much I tried forgetting or not thinking about her, it seems impossible.
My heart keep betraying me every time I saw her, can it be love? as tony said, cuz I tried everything nd it doesn't seem to work so I told him about it
Tony is my childhood friend, we grew up together nd he's the only friend I had, he's even more than a friend he's become family, we're from the same country New York, I decided to study in a different country nd he did the same thing.
I told him everything about me including my private life, so I don't hide anything from him about this my new found heart controller 😒

Tony was on the bed when I walked in not looking so good
"Hey bro" I greeted
"What's up, why do you look bothered"
"It's nothing"
"Come'on tell me what what it is, you're not like this"
"If I should tell you the truth, I don't understand myself anymore "

"I felt betrayed again"
"What do you mean betrayed, you're not in relationship nw, or did you do something behind my back"
"You know I won't do something like that nw, it's just about the girl I told you, I keep thinking about her, I mean I can't take my head off her, my heart keep beating fast everytime I set my eyes on her, no matter how I scold my heart it won't listen, my heart betrayed me" I said all frustrated"
"Hahahahaha" Tony unable to keep his laughter anymore let it out
"I don't remember cracking a joke here tony, it's not funny" I said cuz I know this my unserious friend will not stop laughing
"I'm... Sorry bro, your expression is really funny but if I should be frank with you, it's love" Tony said all serious
"Love??" I asked not believing
"Yes, it's love"
"But you know I don't do love, I've decided never to love again after what that girl did to me"
"Why don't you give it a try, it might be different nd I can sense you're in love already"
"No, I don't want to give it a try nd I won't"
"Let me tell you, you can't because of the past incident not open your heart again, this is your present so live it, open your heart and let love flow remember if you don't fall you can't stand nd besides I need to know this lucky girl"
"Hmm, limme okay??, Just go I'll think about it"
"Anyhow, but I seriously need to see her"
"Leave me alone bro" I said firmly nd he went out but is it true that it's love
