"ANASTASIA! For the last time get your lazy ass down here this instant! We are so late for school young lady!"

Holy cheesecakes who's yelling so damn early?!

"ANASTASIA DON'T MAKE ME COME IN THERE!" A very familiar voice roared, I'm not wondering if the whole neighborhood heard him.

Oh and freaking Ezekiel is making that noise. Damn him for ruining my sleep.

"ANASTASIA!"

"OH FOR THE LOVE OF GOD EZEKIEL! SHUT UP!" I yelled back, earning a groan from him. Clearly pissed.

"Thank God you're awake! You better be here in less than thirty or so help me I am so leaving you here!"

And with that I stood up and went in the shower, about twenty-minutes or so, I got down and ate breakfast. With Ezekiel glaring at me.

"So?" He asked.

I raised my brow in confusion "So what?"

"How late did you sleep last night?"

"If you mean by night, then I didn't sleep. But if you me by past midnight then, I slept."

"God Anastasia! Haven't I told you already to tune it down a bit on your studies and worrying about your duties as class press?! I mean, your classmates may not give a shit about you worrying your ass on how this year's batch is going to be." He said as he set his utensils down and gave me a stern yet frustrated look.

"Live a little you know? It's not healthy to always stay at your feet, clearly tense and pressured at the eyes around you. It's okay to sit sometimes." He sighed as his features softened

Me and my brother had always been this close. With the gap between us for only a year, I don't see the reason to not be so close with him. We had been over the sibling quarrel since we'd moved out from home and lived in a house our parents gave us. It's not like we're on bad terms with our parents but you get me? A little independence is always the key point in life. And hell, Ezekiel is loving it!

"Alright, I'll listen to you this once. Even I know that what I'm doing is no longer healthy" I admit

He let out a chuckle as he shook his head. "You know dear sis? Kids your age are worrying about boys and crying their asses on breakup. And here you are worrying on shit that your classmates don't give a damn about."

I smiled at his comment "You know? You speak as if you were ten times older than me."

He chuckled again "and you act like you're ten times your age"

By this time we burst into laughter. And not a minute later he looked at his phone and frowned.

"We should really be heading out now if you don't want to get your ass punished by freaking President Dawson." He laughed as he got up and cleared our table as I wore my shoes on.
