I woke up early to start a new day. Dana emailed me last night with the kids's schedule. Sierra had kindergarten and soccer practice, while Kai had school and soccer practice and Dmitri, he can handle himself says Dana.
The reason why Dana was hiring for a babysitter was because she had a business trip that would last for six months or more. At first she was satisfied when Dmitri offered to watch over his siblings, but the more she thought about it the more she was worried. As she said Dmitri was always in and out at the same time being busy with school works. He wakes up early while sleeping nearly at dawn. She thought that adding two more to his responsibilities are no longer good and was straining him. Thus, she hired me.
Also she modified me last night that I can choose whether to stay at their place for six months or drive back in forth early in the morning till late at night for six months. Well me being me, I chose the first one.
"Are you sure you're up for it? I mean six months at their place? Can you reconsider?" My brother, Ezekiel, kept nagging me about this over and over. And I was annoyed by his behavior.
"God Kiel, we'd talked about this last night and you said you're fine with me staying there. You can't just take your word back."
"It's not like that! It's just that I'm worried. What if this Dmitri guy is bad news? What if he enters your room and assaults you? Better yet, hurt you?" He reasoned
I scoffed at him "Really? I mean, dude you heard his mom, apparently 'he's the sweetest one among the three' so what's there to be worried about? Plus, it's not like he's always at home."
"Well his mom may think his sweet because for the record, what kind of mom admits that thier child is a freaking maniac slash lunatic?! Literally no one!"
"Our mom?" I asked as I raised my brow with a smirk.
In return, he just glared at me.
"You know what? Just go."
He pushed me towards the door while carrying my luggage. I just chuckled at his immaturity as I mentally groaned.
"You better not burn the house while I'm gone dear brother."
He rolled his eyes as he tossed me my car keys.
"Haha very funny."
I bid him farewell as I rolled down our driveway.
It was about a thirty minute drive from my house to Dana's. As I got there I was in awe struck.
It was a Modern Mansion, unlike ours that was Victorian. By ours, I meant My parents house.
The Mansion was in the mix of grey, black, white and brown. And dang, it was huge.
I pulled up my car and got out. I knock on the door and waited.
About a minute later, a young child opened the door. She had a serious face before it grew bright once she locked eyes with me.
"Sierra! What did I tell you about opening the door without me?!" The voice, which I presumed belong to Dana, scolded her.
