Agent X, Hacker and Sheaf quickly gathered on the roof of the house, with heavy breaths and racing hearts from the adrenaline of the mission.

' I'll first attach my radio scanner to detect any possible security measures attached to the chimney. Then you, Hacker, can log into your device and quickly run a scan and hopefully disable all the trip wires and such to be present here.'

Hacker extracted her screen from her pocket as X pulled out any device from his bag and attached it with sticky tape to the side of the chimney wall. Then he turned to Hacker and gave a slight nod as a go-ahead. Hacker gave a thumbs up and typed rapidly into her device.

Besides her, the device X had attached lit up at random intervals as it scanned the path they were to take for any possible dangers. They all waited in tense anticipation as the machine completed the final checks and beeped with a green light to signify that all was clear.

'Awesome!' X exclaimed as he pulled out the device and towed it away in his bag. 'Looks like it's safe to go down there. Hacker, were there any sort of security measures installed here?'

Hacker didn't even need to consult her screen before shaking her head. 'Nah, this chimney was completely safe, except, of course, the natural dangers of climbing down a chimney. I didn't even have to run any of my other basic procedures. Looks like it's just like any other chimney around here.'

'Okay then. As we've discussed, I'll be going down first, and when I give the go-ahead signal, Sheaf will come down next, flanked by Hacker from the end. All good?' X instructed in a brusque, instructor-like tone. Something about his voice made both of them nod vigorously by instinct, like they were in the army and running a covert operation on terrorists, which, on second thoughts, actually was what was happening.

X nodded towards them before attaching the harnesses around his torso and hooking the metallic hooks around the border of the chimney. Then he carefully lowered himself into the chimney and shimmied his way down the stony path.

Hacker and Sheaf maintained a deathly silence as they heard X pushing his way into the house. Hacker occasionally tried to bite her nails due to her nervousness, but her hand was quickly slapped away by Sheaf, who gave her a hard look and shook his head. So she resorted to pouting and worrying about X.

Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, they heard a light thump as X dropped to the floor. They cautiously leaned over the chimney and saw X carefully looking around before he looked up and gave them a thumbs up. Sheaf nodded and pulled X's harness from him and wore it around his own body. Then he carefully lowered himself and climbed down the chimney with hushed steps.

When he was safely down as well, Hacker pulled up the harness and strapped it around herself, did a quick check of her surroundings and made sure nobody had seen them on the rooftop, then descended down the chimney as well.
