"where do you think your going?" the grabber asked from behind us
"GO!" robin shouted and we both ran opposite ways down the street.
the man got his van and started chasing robin.
I chased after both robin and the van then once the grabber got out I tackled him surprisingly making him end up on the ground.
robin grabbed the knife from his hand and put it so if the grabber moved he'd get stabbed.
"HELP!!" robin and I shout hoping someone,
anyone could hear us.
someones light turned on, then another.
we kept shouting
"HELP! the grabber!" I shouted
someone opened their front door.
"HELP! I've got the grabber!" I shout again
"over here!!" I put up my hand
"help!"
they came out of their house and over to where we were, she gasped and crouched down facing the grabber.
"NOO!" the grabber shouted as the woman took of his mask
"stay here! I'll call the police!" she said running back into her house
"holy shit."
"did we just get the grabber arrested?" robin asked
"it won't be that easy kid." the grabber said still hiding his face.
...
once the police and ambulance showed up they gave me and robin a blanket each and told us to
sit down aside while they contacted our parents.
"finney! gwen!" I shout running up to hug them
"ew you stink" gwen said with tears rolling down her cheek
I smiled.
"I know"
robin walked up to us and we all sat down.
"wait guys, did you know y/n and Vance are related ?!" robin asked
"wait, what?!" Gwen asked
finney looked at me for clarification.
I nodded and smiled as they looked at me in shock.
"I never would have guessed you guys were related." - f
"hah well now you know."
"anyways how did you guys even get out of there" Gwen asked
robin shrugged his shoulders.
Gwen looked at me for me to tell her
"ill tell you later gwen" I said
gwen agreed and we all just sat there, in silence.
"what day is it?" robin asked
"Sunday." finney answered.
"wait so we have school tomorrow?!" I asked
gwen nodded her head.
"we were in there for like five days then." robin said.
I leaned my head on his shoulder and he put his head on mine (yk that pose sisj idk)
finney and gwen looked at us with a really surprised look on their faces.
"what?" robin asked sitting up straighter.
"nothingg" finney and gwen giggled.
he shrugged it off.
I saw my mom running up to me in her nurses uniform I sprung up and hugged her. tears rolled off her face
"I thought I'd lost you y/n." she said
"i came straight from the hospital when I got the call."
"I missed you ma." I said.
"I missed you too." she said.
"let's go home y/n."
"I'm just gonna say bye to my friends" I said walking to them trying to get a glimpse of the grabber getting arrested.
I saw the bodies of Vance and the two other missing kids. I felt my eyes getting watery but I ignored it and went to go say bye to robin, Gwen and finney.
once I got home I went straight to the bathroom and turned on the shower. I waited for the water to get warmer and I got in washing all the dirt and blood off my legs and stomach. I washed my hairs and did skincare and got out. I got dressed into warm pjs and went downstairs to the kitchen where my mom was cooking spaghetti and meatballs.
"hi ma, I think I'm gonna go to bed now." I said
"oh okay you sure you don't want any dinner?" she asked
"yeah I'm sure, goodnight ma"
"goodnight y/n" she said.
I went upstairs and got into bed under the covers keeping all coldness away. I soon dozed off to a nice dreamless sleep.
