Jester walked quietly into Mollys room and was dismayed to see him still asleep, she walked over and sat down on the edge of the bed. She sighed and brushed some of the hair out of his eyes however he bolted up the gentlest of skin to skin contact. He was panting and sweating, gasping for air. "Molly?" Jester questioned not thinking he would answer but she was crossing her fingers. "Yeah?" He replied still covered in sweat but he was regaining his composure, "you can talk!?" Jester squealed out of surprise and delight, "yeah...?" Molly answered slowly, what was going on here? Of course he could talk! Questions flooded his brain and Jester could tell due to his furrowed brow and the confused look in his eye. Meanwhile downstairs the Mighty Nein were chatting "you really did that?" Luc asked his eyes shining, "yeah we also killed an entire cult!" Veth answered, matching her sons enthusiasm. That's when they heard the clatter of a plate being dropped, Yasha was the first one up the stairs, she dashed to the room where Jester and Molly were but stopped dead in the doorway when she saw Jester sitting on the edge of the bed tray of tea (made fresh from Cad and his family) lay forgotten on the floor as she talked excitedly to a very overwhelmed looking Molly. "Molly?" It was barley a whisper but Molly heard it and turned to face a very bewildered Yasha "... do I want to know?" Molly said in his lilting, tripping accent, but what she missed the most was the playfulness, the sweetness, the kindness that was replaced by the cold, harsh tone that was there when Lucien was in control. Yasha giggled, something she hadn't done in a long time as a feeling flooded her bones that she didn't understand, hope, she realized, she felt hope. She ignored Molly's question and instead walked over and hugged him, this only added to Molly's confusion when suddenly what happened flooded his brain. He immediately separated himself from her and started looking for injuries on her and Jester, "Molly?" Jester asked slightly concerned at his worry, "where's Fjord?" Molly responded hurriedly "he's downstairs," Jester answered curiously, then it hit her, "you don't remember anything do you?" She asked Molly squinted at her, "what?" He asked. "Molly..." Yasha said quietly, "you died" Molly's eyes widened and for a slight second they saw fear flicker across his face. Meanwhile downstairs they were starting to get worried so they hurriedly rushed upstairs, Veth was in the front but she stopped everyone bumping into each other at the unexpected halt, "Molly" was all she was able to croak out and Molly, Jester and Yasha all looked up from, as Jester put it, story time.Seeing the tears welling in her eyes Molly gave up on the whole "this is fine" act, "first of all who the hell are you, and second of all does anybody want to tell me what happened!?" Molly asked with an exasperated sigh, because Story time was just Jester and Yasha trying to tell him what happened and then crying. Everybody else pushed pass Veth and stared with a mixture of relief and uncertainty, it was silent until Caduceus spoke, "Mr.Tealeaf, I've heard a lot" he said awkwardly trying to start a conversation, "Molly will do just fine, who are you?" Molly said with a slight smirk. "Caduceus, Caduceus Clay" Cad replied, "well then" Molly said after a few more seconds of silence, "can you start the story already?" He asked. Molly was an excellent audience, except for the part with Lucien, when they came up he wouldn't stop apologizing no matter how many times they said it wasn't him. All in all it was pretty good, Molly and Cad got along pretty well, Molly even read his tea leaves, Jester introduced him to Sprinkle, but it took awhile to wrap his head around Veth being Nott and he sometimes still calls her Nott. At the end of the day when story tome was over and Molly was back in the flow of everything (he was so sore!" They all went outside and slept under the stars, like they did on those countless nights of travel, and for once, everything was perfect.
