It had been a few weeks since King Ghidorah arrived on Earth. Godzilla quickly informed the other Titans about him. He explained that this was a threat bigger than the Mutos which was saying a lot. "Now just remember to stay alert and call for help if you encounter him," Godzilla said as he stood in front of the other Titans. They nodded and talked amongst themselves. "Good! Dismissed!" Godzilla exclaimed like a commander.
"He reminds me so much of the Destroyer," Methuselah said as he walked away. Godzilla raised an eyebrow in confusion.
"Who is "Destroyer? Hmm, Don't distract yourself, Godzilla. There are bigger issues at claw." Godzilla said in his head.
"Whoa, you're really taking initiative. I'm impressed."
"Thanks, Anguirus. In a time like this, I need to be. I am the king after all. And will not let what happened to my family, happen to us.
"You were quite impressive there, Mothy," Godzilla said to Mothra, who blushed.
"Thanks, Goji"
"I promise I will protect you both," Godzilla said as he hugged them.
Meanwhile, King Ghidorah had landed near a cave. "Hmm, it seems this planet won't be as easy to conquer as we thought..."
"What if we don't conquer it?"
Kevin asked which made his brothers look at him confused.
"What are you talking about?"
"I mean what if we just live here, alongside the other monsters? We don't have to rule it." Ichi and Ni started to growl and got extremely angry
"No, Kevin!" Ni growled at his brother.
"What he said, father told us to find a home but we are not going to submit to the rule of a much lesser creature!" "This planet is our home now, so we shall dethrone this king and make this planet to our liking. So you better not think of something like that!"
"It was just a sig-"
"Shut it!"
Wait, didn't father use to say this planet was extremely dangerous?"
"Yes, but that was only because there was an emperor who ruled the planet, they called him the 'Red Beast or the 'Destroyer', amongst other things. But he is gone so we are free to take this planet for ourselves."
"But..."
"No buts! It is what must be done."
For 3 years Godzilla fought with Ghidorah trying to earn the throne. King Ghidorah was an immensely powerful Titan and despite multiple fights with other Titans joining in, it seem as if this war would never end. But recently, Godzilla had another problem it was not as major, but it was deeply personal. Godzilla was near a large cliff overlooking the sea. "Hey, Godzilla! What's going on? Godzilla turned around to see Mothra, the Elderly Behemoth, and Angurius.
"Oh, nothing much...
"Really? Because you seem so 'down' lately. Is it the war?"
"Partially, but also because of something else..."
What is it?
"Yeah, Big G. you can tell us anything, Angurius said as he put his arm around Godzilla's neck
Well... it's just that...I feel like my role as King, doesn't really mean anything
"What do you mean?"
"Well...I mean, I protect you and the other Titans from Ghidorah and Mutos, but I feel like I need to do something...more...but I don't know what."
"So you feel that your position as King doesn't equate to much?" Asked Behemoth.
