Reminder: if you forget what some titans look like, their designs can be found in the ''Coping with Failure" chapter

On the charcoaled rocky remains of an island that once housed a battleground, Mothra lay on top of Godzilla as tears spilled down her face. "I always wanted you to be safe and healthy. I promised myself that you would be okay." She stared out across the sea, which had calmed down after the explosion. Surely there must be tsunamis and other natural disasters, but to Mothra, Godzilla in pain was a disaster. It's almost as if the whole world was staying quiet in anticipation to see if Godzilla would awaken. She had tried to wake him up, but he was unresponsive. Godzilla was still alive, as she could hear his heartbeat. It was faint, but it was there. The island-destroying explosion was too much for his exhausted state. Perhaps if he was not so tired from fighting for so long, he might have been okay. Mothra glared at the red glow and metallic scraps that littered the broken rubble. Mechagodzilla was destroyed. It was his fault that Godzilla was hurt, or was it her fault? She is the one who had the idea to lead Mechagodzila to the stone, and when he revealed that he was going to self-destruct, she used it in her favor to destroy the stone. It worked, but was it Godzilla's fault for running back and trying to get Anguirus? She didn't know who to blame, and honesty didn't matter.

Shortly after, the water began to rumble, and Mothra sensed a presence approaching. The ocean waves cleared, and a large blue figure emerged from the depths and stood tall. It was the Titan, Leviathan. His scaly, blue skin shone in the morning sun. "Your Majesty?" he asked.

Mothra shot up and wiped away tears. "Leviathan." She tried to sound formal, but Leviathan could tell she was not okay. He wanted to ask her if she was crying, but he stopped himself. "Your Majesty, you asked for help?"

"Y-yes. Godzilla is very tired and hurt. But I can't leave him here."

"Well, his majesty found us an island for us Titans to live on. He has a home there, so perhaps you should take him there. It is the tallest mountain. I can help you bring him to the island, but you will need someone else to carry him to the mountain."

"We will worry about that later. Now we just have to get him out of here."

"Likewise, your majesty. This place gives me negative vibes."

"You have no idea," said Mothra under her breath. Together, they pushed Godzilla away from the ruins and toward the ocean. After traveling a significant distance from the ruins, they saw Barb talking with a red, winged Titan.

"Rodan?" said Mothra.

"A Muto?!" Leviathan exclaimed and shot a powerful blast of water straight toward Barb.

"Well, I am just saying that I don't see any of that in you." Said Rodan to Barb.

"Sure you don't." Said Barb sarcastically.

"Hey, I think there's something about you that makes me-'' Rodan was interrupted when Barb was hit with a beam of water. The water came in so fast that it looked like she was hit by a flash of white. The beam hit Barb right in the chest, and she fell beneath the surface.

"Leviathan, that was not needed." Said Mothra.

Leviathan just stared and blinked at Mothra, like she was insane. "Why not? It's a Muto."

"Que diablos?! What are you-HEY Mothra?" Rodan was prepared to yell at Leviathan, but he felt extremely awkward upon seeing Mothra.

"Hey, Rodan." Said Mothra, though she was notably irritated.

"So...uhh...you've returned?" He awkwardly asked.

"Well, you have eyeballs, so you can see me here properly. Or maybe you don't have eyeballs because you can't see that what you did is stupid!"
