Chapter 3, Trouble

"So GK, Why are you carrying a blue sword?" Cole asked running and ducking the rotating machine.

"Its a cool sword though" Jay said coming closer.

"Well Cole, Its actually a diamond sword." GK answered, Jenny and GK were just standing there.

"Cool, are you guys going to be training?" Kai said maybe annoyed.

"Well, I don't think I need training but you can train my sister" GK said pointing at Jenny, she gasped.

"I know how to fight!" Jenny yelled at her brother. Suddenly sensei wu burst through the door panicking.
"The serpentine are back! Everyone in Jamanakai village is in danger!" Wu panicked, the ninja were confused.
"Calm down sensei, we were just there. It was some kid who says he's-" cole said but interrupted, GK ran to the doors and opened it.
"The sprit smoke does not lie! An ancient evil has been released!" Wu cried
"What are we waiting for then?" GK asked, the ninjas turned and nodded running out the door.
"I'm coming t-"
"No Jenny, your staying here where it's safe" GK said, Wu nodded.
"Child, your brother is right" Wu said, GK smiled and closed the door.
"Aw" Jenny complained. The ninja ran to there dragons while GK followed.
"Get on!" Zane said holding out his hand, GK nodded getting on and off they went.
"Stay close and stay together" Kai said
"Would there be any other way?" Cole asked. They were flying through the air. Reaching Jamanakai village the ninjas landed putting there dragons on the ground, The ninjas and GK climbed up houses finding the quickest way to the boy but Zane held GKs hand just in case he needed help but GK really didn't. Reaching the boys location he heard them talking about something like candy and sugar. Jumping down they confronted him.
"Sorry little garmadon but it's already past your bedtime" Cole said
"Get them!" The boy shouted, snakes were in eyeshot and GK realized something.
"My gosh the snakes are more weirder in person" mumbled GK. The snake with the big tails tail started rattling.
"SEIZE THEM!" Cried the snake, more snakes came closer to maybe attack.
"The serpentine? They're real?" Asked Kai uneasy.
"Yeah, always has been" GK replied taking the diamond sword out for battle.
"Your not making this better!" Kai shouted. Villagers and snakes came closer but that didn't stop GK, running towards the snake he jump kicked one of the snakes then swinging his sword making the snake fly backwards.
"Sooo follow GKs moves?" Jay asked GK still fighting random snakes.
"What about the villagers?" Asked Zane looking back at the villagers coming closer. GK swinged left to right the snakes falling back every time he did, going back to the ground he asked.
"Are y'all gonna do something?" Jay took out his weapon but Zane stopped him.
"No! Our weapons are to unstable, we could do more harm then good!"
"I guess that leads us with: run!" Jay shouted. GK facepalmed.
"I've joined y'all's teams like 10 minutes ago, no wonder why you guys need a new teammate"
     "Hey!" Jay shouted. GK sighed, punched another snake before running with them. Going behind houses he finally caught up with them. Then they did the most dumbest moves by back flipping across a carrel like bro what.
"Is that really necessary?" GK asked after they finished.
"Yep" Cole said proud. Suddenly Nya pops out of nowhere.
"Oh hi, who are you? i'm GK" GK said
"its Nya, Hi GK. they have hypnotized everyone in town!" Nya cried out.
"Mind control, how is that possible?" Asked Jay.
"If you hear them rattle there tails, don't look them in the eye, that's how they get you"
"What are we supposed to do? We can't use our weapons and now we gotta fight with out eyes closes? Perfect!" Jay complained.
"Bro, are you forgetting about your spinjitizu?" GK asked.
"Of course! Why didn't I think of that" Kai asked.
"The snake with the staff is their general, he's the one in charge. Take the staff to get the antivenin, if we get that then we can save everyone" Nya said.
"Look guys, forget about the whole green ninja thing, let's make sensei proud, the five of us we're a team" Kai said
"41,42,43-"
"GK why are you counting?" Cole asked
"The more we are wasting time, the more I count" GK said.
"OH NO-"
GK caught up to everyone, 2 snakes came to Kai behind him.
"You wan-" Kai started but GK jumped onto one snake then used his sword to swing the other, both snakes were down.
"Oh my gosh GK, you sure are fast" Kai said as GK climbed up the fence.
"Thanks" GK said going to the other ninjas. More snakes came to Kai, Kai did spinjitizu but ending up hitting a wall.
"Ok we are really out of shape" Jay said.
"Retreat!" A snake cried in the distance, GK came closer to the noise, GK ran and took the long snake tail guy and taking the staff before running. A snake came up to him snaking his tail, GK was not having it and hit him with the staff before running to the fountain stabbing it to the ground creating water mist. The whole village was now not hypnotized.
     "Good job GK" sensei Wu said
     "Wait when did you get here?"
      "We are sorry sensei, if we dealt with Lloyd before he became a problem-"
      "Why didn't we get him then-"
      "None of this wouldn't happened"
      "Even lessons dealt the hard way are lessons learned" Wu said stroking his beard. "Hm, a great evil has been released. I fear troubling times will come. This is only the beginning, GK you have a lot of training to do in order to help fight".
        "Maybe I'll be the one training your students" GK replied smiling.
        "We will train and be ready for the serpentine" Zane said
        "It might not be lord garmadon but that doesn't mean we won't bring our own 'A' game" Cole said.
        "Help us train, help us realize our own potential" Kai said closer to Wu
        "There is much to teach, we must head back to the monastery" Wu said walking back.. that reminded Gk about something.
        "Wait.. is my sister alone?!" GK shouted but a figure came behind him and hit him on the back.
         "Hehe you finally realized" Jenny spoke, GK sighed in relief as the ninjas laughed.
         "Well GK, we might teach each other's different skills" Kai said looking behind him. He smiled.
