( The Next Morning )
Mery woke up to the sounds of groaning, She looked up and saw Scout waking up. Scout gasped in shock, not only because of her new legs and arm, she saw that she was still at the Hello Puppet studio.
Scout: what the ( beep )?! No I can't be still here! Host and I escaped!
Scout then flinched as she felt a hand touched her shoulder, Scout then saw Mery and slightly backed away from her on the bed.
Mery: Oh sweetheart, you've been through so much. Don't worry sweetie Mery will take care of you from now on ( she said with a soft smile ) oh, and don't worry about new clothes, you can wear my old outfits when I was your age and don't worry I've made a pair of pants, shorts, and skirts for each of them. I also got you a pair of shoes while you were asle-
Scout: Who are you?! What are you talking about?!
Mery looked at Scout with saddness before she gently petted Scout's hair.
Mery: Oh sweetheart, can't you see? That terrible human you call " Host " betrayed you and abandoned you when you passed out.. if I hadn't found you and fixed you up, you would've never be alive again. ( She said with a sad tone )
Scout: No! You're lying! ( She said as she backed away from Mery's touch ) They promised to-
Mery: Sweetheart, Humans are masters of lying and manipulation. That Host tricked you into thinking they were your friend so they could escape, ( she said as she placed a gentle hand on Scout's cheek, Scout had tears in her eyes ) but don't worry, Mery promises that I'll help you cope with the pain of betrayal properly ( she said with a sweet and loving voice )
Scout then bursted into tears and Mery sat down on the bed, Mery pulled Scout close and cradled her in her arms. Scout nuzzled into Mery's embrace as she cried, Mery held Scout close to her. After a few minutes, Mery slowly released Scout from her embrace and wiped away Scout's tears with a loving smile.
Mery: Now, let's get you out of those clothes, your shirt has blood stained on it, to puppets like us, my dear Scout, blood stains on our clothes or in our homes is unprofessional.
Mery then went in her closet and pulled out her old lab assistant outfit.
Mery: Do you want to wear pants or shorts or a skirt with this outfit? ( She asked Scout as she showed her the lab assistant outfit )
Scout: eh.. pants maybe
Mery nodded with a smile before she grabbed one of the pants that she made for Scout. Mery gave Scout the clothes and lead Scout in the closet, so Scout can change into the clothes privately.
Mery: Let me know if you need any help and the shoes are in the corner ( she said before closing the closet door )
Mery sat down on her bed and waited for Scout to finish getting changed. Scout then walked out of the closet wearing the outfit, it was a similar to Riley's outfit's original clean look but it had a black turtleneck, Scout was wearing the outfit with black pants and the pair of small black shoes that Mery got her.
Mery: Aww, you look perfect.
Scout: huh.. to be honest I didn't expect to actually look good in this, I might even pull this look off more than Riley. ( She said with a smile and her arms crossed )
