betrayed

I turned my gaze to the woman beside me,
the woman I choose to give my everything.
Her smile that as precious as a treasury,
and her kindness that send goosebumps to my skin.

She is my light,
the one that saved me from the dark.
She is my medicine,
when the world tried to choke me up.

But little did I know
that too much good can be bad too
because of her kindness
i lowered my defenses

And before I know it,
I already opened myself to her
I already relied on to her
I already looked high up to her

I trusted her more than anyone on earth
I wished to give valuable things I see to her
I always hoped to see that smile plastered in her pretty face
And to make her laugh beautifully with my stupid sayings

And in just one day,
everything disappeared before my eyes.
I stood there looking hopeless, speechless and stunned.
And in a blink of an eye, they betrayed me.
