The last race

The first day in Max's house (7)

"Thank you for letting me stay in your and your dad's house Max!" *Michael hugs Max* "Everything for you Michael, you can stay here as long as you want." *Max smiles*  "Thank you." Michael says and goes to the bathroom. 

Michael's Pov

 I went to the bathroom, I saw Max walking into the kitchen. I think he just went to the fridge to get some food or did he? After a few minutes, I heard some loud door closing sounds. Was it Max or Max's dad? I never asked Max about it, I just forgot about it and kept living my life normally. Anyway, after I came back from the bathroom I heard max talk to himself, I clearly didn't hear what he said but I didn't pay much attention to it. 

Max's Pov

I saw Michael go to the bathroom, so I decided to talk to my dad meanwhile. He seemed of that day, what was wrong with him? After I spoke to my dad for a while he just started to yell at me for things I wasn't responsible for...For example, I don't have a mom, he started to yell at me about that. What did I do wrong to him? Am I a mistake? Why did he even adopt me if he doesn't like me? Well anyway, I think he was angry to me after that day, he just left somewhere and came back the next day, he shut the door loudly and I was talking to myself about what a mistake I am. Hopefully Michael didn't hear me...
