"We Meet Again!" ( Chapter 4 )

"Tanjiro! Was your training successful today?" The flame hashira roared, looking down upon Tanjiro with a smile.

"It was amazing! Inosuke fought Kanao with power! And Zenitsu was so fast! I cant believe he can fight while he's asleep!" The boy said cheerfully, before setting down his nichirin blade on his bed and looked up at Rengokus flame-like eyes.

"Sounds good! Speaking of fighting, we will be going on a mission to the west, near a village. There is said to be a demon there, a very ballistic demon."  Rengoku grinned, patting the boys head gently, before heading outside of the mansion to train a bit.

"So, Kyojuro is going west?" Akaza asked.

"Yes, I have overheard the conversation from a small cave near the mansion. I cant exactly go inside because it was still day out there, but I did hear them." A lower demon said.

"Hm, very well then. You have no use for me now, make lord happy." Akaza made the demon be sent away by Nakime. Akaza smiled and then breathed in deeply, feeling a bit excited too see Kyojuro in action. All he needed to do is not be caught while he's stalking.

The four were heading west, in the shining moonlight. Some of them had to take breaks on the way, but they did not give up. It was very far.

"We are here!" Kyojuro laughed, looking at the village from afar. It was a large village, mainly filled with elders and kids. They helped make leather and clothes. 

"Tanjiro," Kyojuro said, "Can you find the scent of the demon?" He proceeded, Tanjiro nodded and began to sniff the air.

He continued smelling for another 10 minutes, before catching a scent. It was in a small part of the village, the scent smelled like raw meat.

"The demon seems to have eaten a fair amount of humans.." Tanjiro said, Rengoku nodded.

"Alright! Then lets go kill this thing then!" Inosuke snorted, gripping his two blades. Zenitsu and Rengoku stopped him from running off.

"Hold on, Inosuke. Let us fully track it--" Zenitsu was interrupted by a sound he heard.

"Wait. Do you guys hear that?" He questioned, the others shook their head a 'no'.

* RAAAH! *

The four jumped away from the thing that was falling from the sky, it was definitely a demon.

"Bastard! I could've stabbed it if you guys didn't shove me!" Inosuke growled, the others simply ignored him and drew their swords. Zenitsu didn't draw his because he already became scared.

"W-Wait! Tanjiro -- Can I sit this one out??" Zenitsu yelled, his voice sounding shaky. Tanjiro nodded his head no.

"Zenitsu! We dont know what the demon is going to do, so we need all of you." Tanjiro yelled, gripping his blade with strength. Rengoku examined the demon quietly, their body language didn't say anything about attacking, but it seemed like a trick.

"What are these weaklings doing here?" The demon smirked, laughing as well.

"We're here to kill you and give justice to all the humans you have killed you dumbass!" Inosuke groaned, attacking the Demon first. But, Inosuke's speed was somehow slower to this demon.

( First this is a random demon I made up, so its not really official in the show / manga. )

"Slower than the last human that I mutilated! Pitiful." The demon growled, before attacking Tanjiro first. Rengoku defended the boy with his red blade.
