I tied my shoelace and walked down the stairs and I saw Rave's classmate saying goodbye to my father and mother. Sydney was sitting in the kitchen while using her phone. My mom saw me walking downstairs and asked me, "Where are you going?"
"Mrs. Williams, can Sydney accompany me to the bookstore to buy some stationaries? I promise that we will just be quick!" Sydney said exclaiming while raising her one hand.
"Then, why the two of you wearing those clothes if you will just buy some stationaries? My mom asked. Suspicions were written all over her face.
" Hihihi, Mrs. Williams of course we will also eat at a restaurant. Willow said that she hasn't had her lunch yet." Sydney said while snickering.
My mom finally allowed me to accompany Sydney after a series of lies. I open the gate and asked Sydney, "Will we be taking a cab?" I ask and close the gate when I saw Rave's classmate getting inside Rave's car. I bowed my head and rummage through my bag.
"Do we have a choice?" Sydney said while booking a cab through her phone.
We wait for a few until the cab arrives. After traveling for 10 minutes, we arrived at our destination. We enter the department store and walked straight to the national bookstore.
I walk beside Sydney and ignore her nonstop chattering while picking stationaries and putting them in her basket. I saw a corner where they put books that they sell. I walked and leave beside Sydney and check out the books.
I trace my hand and slowly read the titles, after scanning a few books I found some interesting books and decided to buy them.
While paying for the things we bought, Sydney turns her head. "Can you accompany me to the restroom after this? I need to pee!" Sydney said while pacing back and forth in front of the cashier. I rolled my eyes and nodded.
"Can you stop pacing back and forth? It's making me dizzy!" I said while putting the things we bought in a paper bag. "I need to pee!" Sydney said half shouting and whispering while holding unto her stomach.
After paying, Sydney pulled me and ran towards the public restroom of the department store. We entered the public restroom and saw no other people. Sydney pass me her things and rush to the cubicle when I heard her scream. "Eww, Willow could you get the tissue from my bag!" Sydney said while shouting. Her voice was laced with disgust.
I rummage through her bag and gave it to her. "Can't they even clean this restroom? It's so dirty if I just felt that I needed to pee. I won't even pee here." Sydney added while complaining.
"No one obligated you to pee here if you really don't want to pee at a public restroom then pee in your house!" I answered back while scanning the restroom.
"And what do you expect from a public restroom? Like a five-star hotel restroom? Many people used this room!" I remarked sarcastically.
"I don't expect anything! I just want the people who used the public restroom to keep their manners and make sure to clean it after using it." Sydney said.
I heard a flush and Sydney open the cubicle and walked directly to the sink and wash her hands. She wiped her hands with a tissue and apply sanitizers all over her hands. I shrugged my shoulders and pass back her things.
While we were talking my stomach suddenly growled. "Are you treating me to a meal? Gosh, let's go I'm starving!" I grumpily said.
We walked to the aisle of the restroom and then directly rushed to a restaurant. While we walked, we reach a common topic and chatted.
"Did you see Eric's tweet? HAHAHA, What a dramatic loner!" Sydney said the whole laughing.
"I also saw it. He's just overdoing it!" I said while mocking Eric. Yes, the common topic was Eric. Precisely it's backstabbing Eric.
"Is it fun to talk to people behind their back?" We were shocked when someone talked behind our back. Sydney screamed out of instinct and I touch my chest as I cursed.
We turn our heads and saw Eric laughing at our shocked faces. Sydney suddenly jumps toward Eric and slaps his shoulders. I rolled my eyes and cursed Eric while calming myself. When I calm down I glared at him. "What are you doing here? Must you be everywhere where we should be?" I said while complaining.
Eric ignored the second thing I said. "I have something to buy," Eric said while massaging his shoulders.
"And is it fun talking to people behind their backs?" Eric asked us a second time.
"Of course!" Sydney said while exclaiming. "You should talk behind people's back to relieve your stress," I said uninterestedly. Sydney and I laughed hard after that.
After calming down Eric asked us, "How about the both of you? Where are you going?"
"Oh, we just came from the national bookstore to buy her stationaries and I bought a few books," I said while raising my arms and showing her the plastic bag.
"We were on our way to eat. You should join us, it's Sydney's treat." I said while winking at him. Eric exclaimed and showed purposely a greedy look and said while laughing eerily. "Sure! Hihihi."
Sydney glared back and forth at Eric and me. "What cheap stakes!" Sydney said while gritting her teeth.
We walked inside the restaurant and find a seat to eat. After sitting down we order our food and since someone was treating me. Of course, I took the opportunity and order more dishes than usual. Eric did the same, while Sydney was glaring at us. "Do the both of you plan to squeeze me dry? At this rate, my parents will probably scold me and cut off my cards!!" Sydney said while exclaiming.
"You're rich Sydney! A simple meal like this won't cost you that much right?" Eric said while grinning. "Won't cost me that much?!!! After getting the bill then let me slap you!!" Sydney said while stretching her neck and cracking her knuckles.
"Just tell Mrs. Johnson that you treat us to a meal," I said while winking at her.
After eating, we separated on our way. I book a cab and arrived home. "Mom, I'm home!!" I said and walked upstairs while yawning
I took a quick shower and change into pajamas. I lay down and sleep.
