"Pretty eyes, lovely wide smile.. You're gonna be a great role model for your future siblings!" the aunt said as her eyes scanned the toddler playing with her bunch of toys.
The toddler's eyes lit up from the words spoken,"Little sibling?" she crawled to her mother that was sat next to the aunt.
"W-What?! Nooo, Y/N..," her mother responded back, flabbergasted. Her young face grew red from embarrassment with her only child anticipating for a sibling.
Her aunt smirked mischievously,"Eh, it's yet to come."
Y/N switched between her impish aunt and her slightly flustered mom. She was curious of what they were keeping sealed away from her to know.
"What you mean??" she asked, frowning. Obviously there was a secret hidden and they didn't want her to know about it.
Her mom exchanged glances with her sister as if silently asking if she could expose the secret and tell Y/N about it.
The aunt sat up straight, bending to pat Y/N's growing hair. Her beautiful hair had grown until below her shoulder-length and it was silky, almost perfect and incomparable to anybody's hair quality.
"That's no fun! Don't you like surprises, Noodlee?" she questioned, calling Y/N by her nickname.
She was slim and had a bright personality, the nickname would suffice for someone like Y/N. Especially since her aunt doesn't like being 'ordinary' and use typical nicknames.
Y/N gasped in shock,"YOU'RE RIGHT. Don't say the secret!"
She stood, using her tiny palms to place on her mother and her aunt's lips to shut them close.
Her mom giggled, gently taking her daughter's hand away,"Nope, I won't tell you the secret!"
"And no one else too?" (Y/N)
She nodded her head as a respond, promising not to reveal whatever mystery she had kept away from her daughter.
'Must be something so important..'
"Sashal? Any Sashal here?" Ghost closed the door as he approached further into the orphanage with an envelope on his hand, sealed tightly.
One of the maidens there walked towards him,"Uhm, sir, I don't think you're allowed to enter this house, specifically at this time since they're having their lunch."
She looked younger than the normal workers.. And she seemed interested in him too...
Ghost scanned the poor maiden up and down, detecting her intentions,"What? Why?"
"Uhm, it's just a rule in this orphanage-" she blinked countless times, attempting to flert.
"'Uhm', I thought people are allowed to enter an orphanage to adopt children?" he mocked her, confused with the 'rules and guidelines' in a small orphanage.
"Well, how am I supposed to know, sir? I'm just merely a worker here, not the CEO." she smugged confidently, braveful with her answer.
Ghost lifted a forced smile,"Yeah, and you'll forever be only that."
Her smug switched to a glare, clearly despising whoever this person was. Her previous intention has been forgotten, and now she only wished for him to vanish.
"Oh, dear. I'm deeply sorry, I didn't notice your arrival! Oh- Well, Jessica, you didn't tell me he was here?" an elderly lady interrupted their conversation, pleased to see Ghost and.. Not so much on the Jessica girl.
