Steve's POV

Staying in a little apartment after the final battle, I have to say being physically old does suck when I'm used to fighting. I'm eating lunch at my kitchen table the news playing, I'm trying to watch it but mind keeps going back to Peggy and Bucky. I miss Peggy, I really do and I'm glad I got to spend time with her, but I left Bucky, although I think he understands. I hope.

Lately I don't like watching the news as much, as it talks about the war and the loos of the hero's, my friends, my family. Though now it has been about Spider-Man, Queens, the attack on London has been spreading more and more. I have to say I'm worried for Queens, so I keep watching the news to get more information.

"We come to you now with revelations about last week's attack in London.
An anonymous source provided this video. It shows Quentin Beck, aka Mysterio, moments before his death. Warning: you may find this video disturbing."  I start listening, intrigued what the new information could be.

"I managed to send the Elemental
back through the dimensional rift, but I don't think I'm gonna make it off this bridge alive. Spider-Man attacked me for some reason. He has an army of weaponized drones, Stark technology. He's saying he's the only one who's gonna be the new Iron Man, no one else."

"Are you sure you want to commence
the drone attack? There will be significant casualties."

"Do it! Execute them all!"  Their is no way that Queens did that, he seemed so kind and polite, and what I know about the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.  He doesn't kill.  Despite my thoughts t word this I keep listening, maybe I can get some truth out of it.

"This shocking video was released
earlier today on the controversial news website TheDailyBugle.net."

"There you have it, folks:
conclusive proof that Spider-Man was responsible for the brutal murder of Mysterio! An inter- dimensional warrior who gave his life to protect our planet, and who will no doubt go down in history as the greatest superhero of all time. But that's not all, folks. Here's the real blockbuster. Brace yourselves, you might wanna sit down."

"Spider-Man's real... Spider-Man's real name is... Spider-Man's name is Peter Parker". I see the picture on the screen and can't believe it, he's a kid. A high schooler by the looks of it.  And this is now, I can only imagine how old he was for the Civil War and the other two.

"That's right, folks. Peter Parker.
A 17-year-old high school delinquent harboring a homicidal hunger is in fact the vile vigilante villain Spider-Man."  Seventeen years old, he's a kid.  He would of been around 15 or 14 when he started.  Why would he get himself into something like this.  I know you want to help but it comes with so much pain.  Now I can't get out of my mind that this kids indenting was reveled and his whole ice has changed. With the fact that they think he's a murderer, I won't be surprised if he struggles to get to college and more.

"All this time, people looked up to
this boy and called him a hero. Well I'll tell you what I call him: Public Enemy #1."  Public Enemy number one, that's outrageous.  He's a kid and they have no solid proof he did anything but protect.  All he has done since being Spider-Man is help and protect and now they get one new 'hero' and he's now public enemy number one.

I keep looking at the screen I see him swinging around with what looks like his girlfriend.  Helicopters following him wherever he goes.  I realize now that not just him is effected, it's his friends and family.  As I keep watching, I keep thinking about the times I met him.  Civil War, I dropped a jet bridge in him.  Oh my god I dropped a jet bridge on a kid!!!  I was fighting a kid, a kid got hurt, I can't believe I did that.  Moving on I think about infinity war, he went up to space with stark, and for how stark reacted they really cared about each other.  Endgame,  he fought after dying, he watched stark die right in-front of him.  I look back at the tv and see different news stations talking about the attack, but I refuse to believe that he did anything wrong, that he killed anyone.
