Nandini was making some reports in her laptop when her mother came inside the room after knocking, she sighed and welcome her with a sweet smile. Nandini silently just shut her laptop and look at her mother's smiling face. She smiled and little and then lay in her lap comfortably.

"Ma it's been long two months since i lay in your lap. This feelings and comfort can't be compared with any other thing or any other comfort." Nandini said snuggling in her stomach and her mother creases her head.

"Bachcha i am here to talk to you about something very important." Her mother said and she nodded, telling her to continue.

"Today the way you talk with your father in law was not appropriate. No girl can do that with their elders. You are going to get married nandu....just be ready to adjust, be ready to live according to them because the comfort parents provide no in laws can give you. Your father give you full freedom but in your new home, you have to walk and talk according to them." Her mother said and nandini just lost in her thoughts, how can a girl bear all this. It's our life so rules should be also ours. Today a girl who is daddy's princess will be treated like a trash in her inlaw house.

"But ma why should i manage according to them. It's our life then why can't we live it on our terms. I found them very conservative. I think i should think before taking this step of marriage. I think i should talk to rishi about it." Nandini got up from her mother's lap and look at the number which her father give her after the departure of guests.

"No nandini, girls can't do that. You can't talk with your would be husband before marriage and it's my order and do everything according to them. You can't just rule over everything and it's my final decision."
Her mother just snatched the card went out and nandini just crashed herself on her bad and think deeply about this particular matter. She didn't realise when she slept.

At evening 5.00 she got up and after freshing up she went out and found her father was talking to someone on phone with tension visible on his face.
She walk near him and hold his shoulder and he look at her very seriously. After complete talking with the caller he finally hung the call up and look at nandini.

"Devesh ji wanted this wadding to be held on the upcoming wednesday. His pandit ji told him that new bride will bring luck and prosperity to their life on that auspicious day." Anand said after watching her confused face and nandini's eyes were snapped open listening that.

"Papa wedding in ten days. It's too much now. I am not ready and he should have ask me before finalizing anything because it's my wedding too." Nandini said through gritted teeth.

"Nandini beta.......devesh ji was in no mood to listen to anything. His voice was seeming like a final decision." Anand said and nandini look at him in disbelief.

"Papa from when you started to behave like this. You're a man of your choice and words. When you started to obey others." Nandini asked.

"Nandini beta the relation of wedding is very delicate and it's law made by society that bride side have to bend in front of the groom side.You just do one thing start your shopping because we have to do everything according to them." Anand said and nandini nodded but still she was feeling so different.

"Papa if i say i am not sure about this alliance then......." Nandini asked and anand just turn towards her shockingly.

"If is that so then you don't need to do this marriage. I will see to everything but beta be sure because it is the decision of your life." Anand said.

"Papa told them that nandini is not ready. I need time and it's my right to take it until i became so sure about my decision and tell them clearly that before deciding the date ask me because it's my wedding too." Nandini said and anand nodded when ashwini come out from kitchen listening everything they were talking.

Ashwini look at nandini angrily and nandini looked down. Without saying a word ashwini went inside the kitchen again.After sometime they were having dinner and anand could feel the growing tension between ashwini and nandini, nandini was trying very hard to talk to her but ashwini wasn't ready to hear anything.

"Today i got everything, you don't love me nandini.....i just ask you one thing and you could not even give me that. I am trying to get over with the burden that your father is bearing but you are not ready to leave us." Her mother said curtly and nandini felt really hurt, so much hurt that tears formed in her beautiful eyes and not able to control herself she turned around hiding her tears from her parents.

"Papa i am ready for this marriage. No need to say anything to them." She said and go back to her room.

Here anand look at his wife with hurtful eyes because of what she said to their only daughter. Ashwini felt really relaxed and happy listening to nandini.

"Ashwini do you really mean whatever you said to nandini. She's our only daughter and you call her a burden." Anand said and ashwini hold his hand on the table.

"She is my small baby doll but I don't want her to ruin her future with her insolence. Devesh and his family is so reputable and rishi will always keep our nandini happy. Did you forget how he mend her yesterday, it's for nandini's bright future." Ashwini said and anand smile a little but still his heart wasn't ready to except the thing and logic that ashwini added. He couldn't found the real happiness on his princess face.
