Levi x reader (modern au) /Under Review Till Further Notice

There they were sitting infront of me

All seemed calm but I felt nervous

Levi, Kenny, Eren,Mikasa , Historia, Sasha, Jean , Armin and Connie.

Historia seemed happy to see me, her blue eyes shined with hope but she had eye bags under her eyes showing her exhaustion. Same with Armin but he grew a lot. He doesn't look like that soft boy who could be bullied into anything ever again.

Jean had longer hair now and looked neater and had a little beard of some sort going on but he looked drained and tired. Mikasa had her usual look of coldness and her hair was cut shorter. Sasha looked the same as she was younger, or maybe it's my eyes not wanting to accept it.

Eren's green eyes lost their shine, he looked drained, tired and done. He had his hair tied up into a bun-pony. He looked pissed at me,I don't blame him for that but I didn't see Farlan and Isabella as they are always around Levi,it was weird for me.

My eyes looked across them all. They looked drained, tired and like they lost something dear to them. Levi looked the same as always just more mature and built up but his skin looked paler, his eye bags got worse and he looked at me coldly.

Some didn't even look at me. I didn't blame them cause I deserve all the eyes I'm getting.

"WOW! Didn't think we'd see you again y/n" Kenny said while laughing and I gave him a small smile then lowered my head. This was an awkward situation for me, I left without considering anyone's feelings. I didn't even keep in touch with them and that might have came off as I didn't need them or I didn't care about the anymore. That what we had was just fake.

My phone started to ring, I looked at it confusedly then I flipped it over to see who the caller is.

Therapist

"Who is it?" My dad asked me curiously

"Therapist" I said in a low voice then I excused myself to the next room to take the call. "Hey I'm sorry for not informing you but I've got a really important meeting here at home" I said over the call,my therapist replied back and told me that my next session she'd like to talk about how my business is at the moment. I just nodded my head and said my bye before hanging up nyv7t

When I say down the look in Levi, Eren and Mikasa softened. Did they hear when i told my dad who the caller was? Cause that's the only way their gazes could soften.

"I'm so glad we get to work with you but where's Petra?" My dad and Kenny were talking about the business and he happened to ask. I rolled my eyes then folded my arms across my chest. I still had something against her, she just irritated me and she's so annoying. I fucking don't like her, even after so many years I find her name repulsive.

"She had some important business to deal with, her words not mine"Levi said with his hand folded across his chest. The sound of his voice sent nerve impulses down my spine, the hairs on my neck stood up and my skin had goosebumps all of the sudden. Why'd his voice have to sound so.... hot, mesmerising, dreamy and raspy. Why'd he have to be so hot.

"Uhm y/n...I heard you've started your own business" Sasha said nervously. To my surprise she was trying to engage in a conversation with me. I thought she'd be mad at me and give me the cold shoulder treatment. I don't know why I had a gut feeling that everyone was mad at me. It's like I felt guilty of something, but what exactly? "Yeah I did, it's not a big business but it's getting there" I replied back to her kindly and easing the nervous feeling she had with my warm smile. "Don't be like that y/n, you were able to grow your business in less than 2 years. Take some credit will ya" my dad said as he pat my back gently. I turned and gave him a soft smile then looked back at Sasha.
