Levi x reader (modern au) /Under Review Till Further Notice

The day passed by fast and before she knew it, it was a period before lunch. In every class y/n was seated next to levi, like in every each and one of them there was a open space next to Levi. Girls kept staring at y/n with hate and anger, even when she talked to levi they were glaring at her, well it's not like levi was their property and so she was going to talk to him as much as she wanted.

They were in maths and the sir gave them a small activity to keep them busy as the English teacher walked in but she didn't pay attention to her and she was just looking at her paper. Levi clicked his tongue and y/n looked at him and raised a brow at him, he pat the space next to him and she moved closer to him then he looked at the paper and she did the same.

"y/n since you've been bragging of how book smart you are, does this answer look okay cause I'm having doubts and I don't like it"

"what do you mean levi? This answer is correct, actually you've made it further than me, I'm struggling with the 3rd one"

A smirk curved on his lips and he moved his eyes to her and leaned his head on his hand

"guess you're not as book smart as you said you are"

She rolls her eyes at him then showed him her solution

"well you were still going to get the right answer, it's just you took the longer way"

She said "Oh" and then levi took her pencil, even thou he had his near him and then showed her the shorter method to the problem and explained it step by step. Luckily she was a quick learner so she understood it right away

"Thank you"

She chirped then moved back to her space and then continued with the activity.

"Everyone can I have your attention"

The English teacher called them to order and then she looked at the file in her hand while the maths teacher stood by her side with a pack of papers

"I've good news and bad news for you all, the good news is you won't be taking an examination at the end of the term"

"yes!!" they cheered in class

"yes I know you're happy about it but there is also bad news, the bad news is you'll have to make do a project to make up for your term mark and so I decided to make it a fun project where you write your own story, you can use anything as inspiration but make sure it's your own work with your own characters so be creative and shine. You have 1-2 months to do this, if you're done before the due date you can bring them in already"

Silence fell upon the class and some people layed on their hands

"you'll be paired up into a group of 2 people, I already got that arranged since I want 2 different people to work together on the project"

She looked at the clipboard in her hand and started to call out people's names and grouping them

"Mikasa with Jean, Eren with Sasha, Reiner with Ymir, y/n with Levi....."

And so on and to y/n's most surprise she was glad she was paired up with Levi, she didn't want to be paired with one of the cheerleader girls so she was going to make it work. The maths teacher walked around the class and gave everyone their assignments

"now remember this should be a group effort and if I find out you weren't working in a group, you'll get a fail as a group so it's your job to make sure your group partner works with you"

Y/n looked over at Levi and he looked back at her and then they both sighed out heavily. Y/n went back to finishing her activity while levi looked over her shoulder and helped her when he saw she was making a mistake and sometimes making fun of her when she didn't understand. They didn't notice the eyes on them because they were so engrossed in the maths work and it was weird but for once she enjoyed doing her maths work. Soon enough she was done and then she looked at levi and laughed soflty while he smirked. She put away her stuff and then took the assignment and looked at it "so what's your plan brat?" she looked at him then shrugged "well depends on when do you want to start?" "next week" she nodded at him and then let out a small sigh "Well that means we'll be doing it at the apartment, thou I share my apartment with Mikasa so she might have Jean over" "we can do it in your room y/n and if we can't we can do it at my place" they looked at each other then nodded. But little did she know that levi never takes any girl to his apartment, not because he's embarrassed of it but because he doesn't think that his one night stands are worthy enough to enter his home, that meant he saw y/n as a worthy person to enter his house since it was for educational purposes and not pleasure,his apartment was a sacred place where he kept all his memories of her.
