03. Did I Mention?

Y/n and Hermione were sitting together watching a Quidditch match. It was Slytherin versus Hufflepuff, and the match was getting intense.

"Who do you think will win?" Hermione asked.

"I'm not really sure," Y/n answered. "They're both at a tie, it's hard to tell."

Then, halftime rolled in. (If Quidditch doesn't have halftimes then I'm sorry ( ；∀；) )

Both teams were getting a break, and there was supposed to be a halftime show this time. Y/n wondered what it could be.

Suddenly, loud music started playing and Draco Malfoy flew out into the middle of the Quidditch field holding a microphone. He started singing:

"Did I mention that I'm in love with you? And did I mention there's nothing I can do? And did I happen to say? I dream of you everyday, but let me--"

"Shout it out loud!" The crowd shouted.

"If that's ok..." Draco continued. He winked at Y/n. "If that's ok."

"What's going on?" Y/n laughed.

"This song is for you," Hermione explained.

"Wait, what?! Who's idea was that?"

"It was Draco's idea."

Y/n blushed. "Really?"

"I met this girl that rocked my world like it's never been rocked, and now I'm living just for her and I won't never stop. I never thought that it could happen to a guy like me, but now look at what you've done, you got me down on my knees."

Draco did a flip on his broom.

"Because my love for you is ridiculous! I never knew--"

"Who knew?"

"--That it would be like this? My love for you is--"

"Ridiculous!"

"My love is R-I-D-I-C-U-L-O-U-S!" Draco raised his arms into the air.

"R-I-D-I-C-U-L-O-U-S!"

"It's--"

"Ridiculous!"

"Just--"

"Ridiculous!"

"And I would give this match up for just one kiss-- well, did I mention that I'm in love with you? And did I mention there's nothing I can do? And did I happen to say? I dream of you every day, and let me shout it out loud if that's ok. If that's ok.."

Draco flew in right in front of Y/n with a smirk on his face before returning to his place on the field. Several other members of the Slytherin Quidditch team joined Draco as he performed many impressive flips and other tricks on his broomstick.

"I gotta know which way to go, c'mon gimme a sign. You gotta show me that you're only ever gonna be mine. Don't want to go another minute livin' without you. Cause if your heart just isn't in it, I don't know what I'd do..."

Draco pulled Y/n onto his broomstick and flew around with her.

"Because my love for you is ridiculous! I never knew--"

"Who knew?"

"--That it would be like this? My love for you is--"

"Ridiculous!"

"My love is R-I-D-I-C-U-L-O-U-S!"

"R-I-D-I-C-U-L-O-U-S!"

"It's--"

"Ridiculous!"

"Just--"

"Ridiculous!"

"And I would give this match up for just one kiss!"

As the song transitioned into a music break, Draco and Y/n continued to ride Draco's broom together in front of the other students. The other Slytherins continued to perform their flying tricks.

"Because my love for you is ridiculous! I never knew--"

"Who knew?"

"--That it would be like this? My love for you is--"

"Ridiculous!"

"My love is R-I-D-I-C-U-L-O-U-S!"

"R-I-D-I-C-U-L-O-U-S!"

"It's--"

"Ridiculous!"

"Just--"

"Ridiculous!"

"And I would give this match up for just one kiss!"

The music came to a close. Draco stared deeply into Y/n's eyes and asked, "What do you say? Do you want to be my girlfriend?"

"Yes!" Y/n squeaked.

Draco pulled her in for a passionate kiss and the crowd went wild. Hermione even shouted, "YEAH, Y/N!"

"I love you, Y/n."

"I know. After all, your love for me is ridiculous."
