Hi, Lovely Readers! I decided to write a little something to celebrate Valentine's Day with you!

I know that you all hated the last one shot I wrote for this book, so I'm hoping that this will make up for it. Hope you enjoy! ❤️

Y/n's POV:

Harry Potter was supposed to meet me for our Valentine's Day date today. I cleaned up nicely, cleared my schedule, and even walked out to Hogsmeade to wait for him to arrive.

Five minutes went by...

Then twenty...

Then forty...

...

An hour and a half had passed since our original meeting time.

What had gone wrong? Had something popped up for him last minute? Did something happen to him while I was waiting?

I scanned the Hogsmeade area to see if there was any trace of him, but I couldn't see anyone that even remotely looked like him...

There! I saw him!

I ran towards Harry's direction, hoping to catch his attention, but then I slowed down. Who was that girl he was with?

Upon closer inspection, I discovered that Harry was walking down the brick road of Hogsmeade with Ginny Weasley! He took her out instead of me, like we had planned ages ago!

Raging with fury, I stormed away from the newly found lovey-dovey couple and found an unoccupied bench to rest on.

Thick, hot tears welled up inside my eyes, and my body trembled-- from the cold weather or how upset I was, I wasn't sure. No matter how hard I will end myself not to burst into tears, my tear glands betrayed me. I leaned forward until my forehead pressed against my thighs, and I poured my heart out.

Why did today have to be like this? Why did I have to feel like crap? Why didn't Harry love me enough?

While all these horrible thoughts and insecurities swirled through my head, I failed to noticed that someone had sat down beside me. I felt a warm and gentle hand graze my shoulder, and I immediately snapped out of my daze to stare into the icy eyes of the Slytherin Prince himself.

Draco Malfoy.

I expected him to say something-- anything-- but he remained quiet. Not a single words escaped his lips. He only gazed at me with a sympathetic stare, then wrapped me up inside his arms.

"I'm here," was all he said.

My mind was filled to the brim with immense confusion, and my brain rattled with one repeating plea.

I want Harry. I want Harry. I want Harry. I want Harry. I want Harry. I. Want. Harry.

Harry was what I wanted, right? Who I wanted?

If so, then...

Why had Draco come to my rescue instead?

Draco wasn't the one I needed.

Right?

"Draco..." I finally spoke, my hands trembling. "Is there something you need?"

Draco shook his head. "I just came here to check on you. You looked upset when I passed by." He released me from his embrace. "Do you want to talk about it?"

I sniffled pitifully as I dried my eyes. "I saw Harry with Ginny. We were supposed to go out today."

Draco wore a look that said he wanted to murder Harry as soon as he laid eyes on him. Then, his expression softened when he noticed how frightened I was.

"I can take you out, if you'd like me to," Draco offered.

My heart skipped a beat and I tried not to blush. "You'd really do that? For me?"

He nodded. "I'll do anything to make up for what Potter did to you. I think you deserve better than a slimy cheater like him."

I smiled, then squeezed Draco's hand gently. "I'd love it if you took me out. Thank you."

The two of us rose up from the bench. My heart pounded hard inside my chest when I saw Draco wear one of his classic smirks. "It'll be my pleasure, Darling."

I'm sorry that this came out like trash. I think I'm having a writer's block today
