True Potential | A Naruto Fanfic

It really hits the fan.

Last time on true potential:

"HAJIME!" Gekko shouted as he dropped his arm, before performing a body flicker and getting as far away as possible.

Gaara's sand danced wildly around him as Naruto firstly got some distance from the Suna Jinchuriki.

"First I gotta neutralize his seal and disrupt his connection with Shukaku. If I do that then Pedomaru will have to go Yolo and begin the invasion anyway. I'll have to make sure Jiji has prepared the Chunin that'll activate the barrier seals at the major buildings without Oro-baka realizing. Got it!" Naruto quickly performed the Shadow Clone jutsu, however what most didn't see was that in all of the smoke from the two clones appearing, one of them used the Henge to turn into a fly and head as fast as possible for Hiruzen.

Meanwhile, Gaara threw his sand violently at Naruto and his clone, forcing both to split up in a series of maneuvers, however not long before the Clone body flickered to the original Naruto.

"Alright. This should help with that Sand of Yours. Suiton: Suijinheki!" Naruto and his clone both spewed out 2 large walls of Water, which dampened most of the sand that Gaara had released up to now, making it heavy and not properly usable. The two would then burst forward from different directions, throwing a series of Kunai, Shuriken and Kunai with paper bombs at Gaara, which as expected just used his sand to block everything. However, that was what Naruto expected and wanted. Sand technically was part of the Earth, meaning that it would beak weak compared to Lightning release.

The Senju smirked. For a while he had been wanting to try this, since his sensei for the past month Bee had told him about it and it was about time he did. Covering only his right leg in Lightning Release, resembling the Raikage's Lightning Armor, Naruto jumped high in the air and performed a frontflip, extending his right leg and performing an axe kick, however his Right foot didn't go all the way down until Naruto reached the right height.

"GIROCHIN DOROPPU!!" (Guillotine Drop) Naruto exclaimed, making the Kumo Shinobi in the Stadium's eyes widen considerably.

All Gaara heard was Naruto shouting some random words, and the next moment he saw a foot covered in Lightning Chakra piercing his Sand shield and kicking him right on top of the head, cracking his Sand Armor and sending his face crashing down on the ground.

Kage Box.

"I...how can he do that?" A would say perplexed, staring blankly at the fight.

"No idea. All I know is that he never ceases to amaze us." Hiruzen said with a smile on his face.

"Thirteen and already amazing Three Kage and a Sannin in the battlefield and revealing one of the biggest crimes in the village in the Political side. Tch, you'll be taking this hat much sooner than I expected you brat." Hiruzen thought, before looking back at the battle. Suddenly, a fly landed on his shoulder. Ignoring it, he kept watching, until:

"Jiji. I'm one of Naruto's clones. Boss wants to know if the Barrier Seals are ready with Chunin ready to start powering them. He says he plans to place a seal on Gaara so he can't release Shukaku." Hiruzen would nod and take out a note, discreetly writing on it:

"All the necessary preparations are done. You can go on with it whenever you wish."

The fly then disappeared in a tiny poof of smoke, dispelling.

At the Arena.

Getting the message, Naruto would nod to himself before creating 3 more clones, incase this went wrong.

"Four Violet Flames Formation!" The clones exclaimed, creating a large Purple barrier that surrounded just the Arena, as Naruto's fingers started glowing and got Kanji in them.
