"This is really what you want to do? How did one Omega, one meeting smithen you so much that you are willing to roam around Ivana in an unknown Dukedom? You do know that he could kill you upon hearing what you have to say?" The King tried to reason with his son as he rode his horse beside him. Nikolai smiles as he rode his horse faster forcing his father to ride faster to match his pace. The beautiful palace, known as Elden palace so close to him now as the palace grew larger and larger.
"Father, you shouldn't speak while riding. You might bite your tongue." Nikolai flashed a sneaky smile as he whipped the reigns harder urging his black war horse to ride faster towards the gates of the castle.
The huge gates to the castle opened after the knights confirmed the identity of the two riders. The King was wary of why his son urged him to come without any guards but Nikolai knew better. If he had bought his guards, Hizashi would've probably caught wind of his visit to Ruby and the reason why he made Hizashi look after the preparations himself would fail to keep him occupied enough to not notice his visit anymore. Two knights escorted the two riders into the castle where Nikolai's eyes fell upon a dual haired Alpha who stood strong with his head held high and vigilant eyes glaring at him near the entrance of the main hall. Nikolai didn't even bother with the glare he recieved. He gave a kind smile and walked up to the dual haired Alpha.
"I am Nikolai Cromwell, the Crowned Prince of Noa. I wish to speak to the Duke of Ruby immediately." Nikolai spoke in a regal yet urgent tone. The King stood beside him as he let the dark hood on his head fall. Nikolai did the same staring at the dual haired Alpha. Shoto eyes the both with a wary look on his face and straightened himself.
"The Duke is away on business. You can speak to me if you wish to get word to him. I am Shoto Todoroki, the Vice Commander of the Crimson Knights." He said holding his gaze. Nikolai breathed out a heavy sigh.
"This matter is of utmost importance. I need to speak to him directly." He urged with an irritated tone. Shoto's eyes narrowed at him and he turned away walking upstairs.
"You are welcome to stay and rest but as I have said. The Duke is occupied and would not be seeing you." He said walking away. Nikolai fisted his hands beside him and gave a short growl of frustration.
"This is regarding his wife! I met him and he does not look well to me. If he wishes to see his wife again.. alive. I ask you to bring me to him." He said louder and with more determination.
Shoto froze on the steps as he looked back at the Prince in disbelief. He looked to a knight who had heard the passing conversation and nodded. The knight immediately ran upstairs towards the Duke's chambers. Not even a few minutes later, a ragged looking blond Alpha with an older blond Omega and a brunnette Alpha ran downstairs hurriedly. Their clothes gave it away clearly that they were the noble family that ruled this land. Nikolai blinked as he took in the man his would be Finace spoke of. He could understand why the greenette loved this man so much. He could see the beauty behind the ragged state the blond was in at the moment. He could see the heartbroken state of the Alpha very clearly. Katsuki stormed to Nikolai gripping the collar of his tunic and pulled him dangerously close to his face. The blond cared nothing for him being a future King or any greetings at the moment. He only cared for his wife who he desperately wanted to ask why he gave up on him so easily.
