*A week later on the way to Nina's place*
"Who would win, Kevin from Home Alone or The Predator?"
Nina asked while her, Embry and Quil were on there way to her's and Jacob's house. Nina was on the left side, Embry in the middle and Quil on the right.
"How long does Kevin have before Predator gets there?"
Quil asks moving to stand beside Nina so that she's in the middle.
"24 hours."
Nina answers as she went off the road to jump in the puddles that are in the grass.
"Easy, Kevin."
Embry answered instantly.
"Yeah, The Predator is done for."
Quil agreed, Nina nodded agreeing.
"Whooop!"
Embry whooped to let Jacob know the we're here.
"Whoop!"
Nina yelled and Quil came up behind her, picking her up and spinning her.
"Jake, you in there?"
Quil asks finally putting down Nina, but keeping his hands on her waist while they walk weirdly with Nina in front of Quil's legs.
"Hey Jake-"
Embry greets but stops when we all see ever so famous Bella Swan. Nina, Embry and Quil share a cheesy smile.
"Hey this is Bella. Bella, that's Embry, Quil and Nina."
Jake introduces us and Nina was looking at the motorcycles from the hold she was in.
"Oh are you and him together?"
Bella awkwardly asks Nina about the sight she's seeing of Nina and Quil. Everyone but Bella breaks out into laughter.
"No they're not, that's just how Nina is with all her friends."
Jake answers shrugging, Nina nods along.
"All her guy friends?"
Bella mumbled sounding judgmental and confused. Embry felt the need to protect Nina.
"Is that a problem?"
Embry asked stepping slightly in front of Nina as she gets out of Quil's hold to nudge Embry back. When she touched his arm he was burning up.
"So the bike building story is true?"
Nina diverted the conversation to release the tension while she brings Embry a few steps back. She knew these signs meant he was going to shift soon and she'll make sure to tell Sam.
"Taught him everything he knows."
Bella answered joking hopefully.
"What about the part where you're his girlfriend?"
Quil asked knowing what he's doing. Nina smiles along with Embry.
"Oh... we're just friends."
Bella stated getting uncomfortable.
"Oh burn."
Embry teases with a laugh making Nina laugh to. She couldn't help but feel the butterflies as Embry wraps and arm around her. She doesn't know why she's feeling this way now.
"I said she's a girl and a friend."
Jake scrambled, Nina laughed knowing that was an obvious lie.
"Embry, do you remember him making that distinction?"
Quil asks mockingly. Nina laughs hiding her face in Embry's shoulder.
"Nope."
Embry said hiding a laugh.
"So I guess you guys have girlfriends."
Bella said to Embry and Quil, obviously changing the subject. Jake laughed loudly.
"Right, Quil took his cousin to prom and Embry can't make a one move on a girl that he likes"
Jacob laughed and Nina had a confused look. Nina didn't know he liked someone, she felt jealousy.
"Yeah that's still a riot. You want funny, Black? I'll give you funny."
Quil joked then started play fighting with Jake.
"Five bucks on Quil."
Embry said to Bella, leaning over me.
"You're on."
Bella laughed. Nina was confused about that Embry didn't tell her he liked someone. She started thinking and can only think of one excuse and that would be him liking her. Nina is self doubting herself.
Nina snapped out of her trace when she saw Jake tap out.
"Ha pay up, Swan."
Embry held his hand out. Bella rolled her eyes playfully and handed him the five.
"I want five bucks."
Nina pouted playfully.
"Here, you can have it."
Embry held the five in front of her and Nina smiled taking it.
"Let's go get coffee, on me."
Nina started walking away and Embry laughed.
"You're whipped, man"
Quil patted his friends back but got a shove from Embry.
*La Push Café*
"You would do anything for me."
Nina said cheekily taking a sip from her coffee.
"Not anything."
Embry couldn't look at Nina knowing he's lying.
"Face it, you're my bitch."
Nina laughed and Embry joined.
"Are you sure?"
Embry asked now taking a drink if his coffee.
"Very, and I know people who would agree."
Nina said held her smile.
"Who? Name one."
Embry challenged.
"My boys."
Nina simply shrugged but Embry got very mad at that. Her boys? She said it like she likes them. He thought darkly and started shaking. Nina noticed this immediately.
"Embry, we gotta go."
Nina said standing up and Embry didn't think twice before getting up. He had the urge to go to the forest. Nina took her phone out as she watched Embry run into the forest.
"Sam, Embry's gonna phase."
