Growing Pains

A Long Weekend (Part 1)

Justin's Pov:

It's finally the first weekend since we've been going to this new school and if I were to be totally honest, it's not as bad as I thought it would be. However this weekend is going to blow. This weekend is our cousins birthday. His name is Alex and he is turning 16. He has an older brother named Jessie who is 17. Alex is best friends with Jay, and Jessie is best friends with Ty. You can see why I am not as excited for this particular weekend. Especially now since Ty and Jay have been dicks much more than usual. When they found out Mikey unhooked me they tried to get him but I told them that I forced him to unhook me by saying I would beat him up. Either that was a bad lie or I am just bad at lying because they still beat up Mikey and they also beat me up that night while dad was asleep. Jessie and Alex also have a little sister named Lily who is 15 but she and Mikey are closer since she finds him adorable since in her words, "he's just not a moody teenager like you guys." But that being said it's usually always me, Mikey and Lily hanging out when we go there. They live all the way in Pennsylvania. We leave today and we come back Sunday. Dad made us pack last night and put all our stuff in the car so when we come home after school we can just leave right away after putting our school bags away. We could just go up for the day and then come back but Uncle Austin and Aunt Penelope always insist we stay for the whole weekend till Sunday which is his birthday. School just ended so I went to go to Mikey's locker since my last class was near there. Mikey got grounded since dad found out he didn't go to his last two classes on the first day of school. Mikey is grounded supposedly till this Sunday but forgot about us going to Pennsylvania so he just said today is his last day of being grounded. I could tell dad has been really stressed recently between us boys and work. He just starts to forget things a lot more. Even though it wasn't his fault Mikey decided to lie and say he skipped to save himself the trouble. When I get to his Locker I see Mikey and Johnny putting their books away and talking. Johnny noticed me first but I made sure to put my finger over my mouth shushing him so he won't let Mikey know. I could tell he felt bad but he still went along with it.

"GRRRR!" I yell at Mikey while I shake him.

"AHHHH!" As he screams a lot of kids start staring. I'm now just full blown laughing at this kids face.

"W w what the HELL?!!!" He says as he stutters and voice cracks.

"Wow kid, you really do scream like a little girl."

"Shut up!" He says while punching me in the arm.

"Hey watch it! I may not be as bad as Ty or Jay but I could be." That got Mikey scared as I saw his eyes widen with fear.

"Jesus, calm down I'm just messing with you." I say while ruffling his curls.

"Stoppp my curls." He whines.  I turn my attention towards Johnny now.

"Sup Johnny!"

"Sup Justin!"

"Thanks for not alerting Mikey."

"Dude you knew!" Mikey said while pushing Johnny in the shoulder.

"Yea but come on... it was kinda funny."

"Jerk." He said to his friend while laughing.

"Come on, as much as I would love to see you two nerds fight each other, we need to go to Ty's locker before he gets pissed." I explain to Mikey.

"Alright, Johnny are you going to walk home with us?" Mikey asks.

"Yeah of course."

So with that we all walk towards Ty's locker.

Tyson's Pov:

"Dude you're gonna miss a practice?" John asks.

"Yeah I have to, I'm going to PA for my cousins birthday with my brothers."

"All three of you are missing????!! Dude coach is going to be pissed, plus you'll be missing the game this Saturday." Danny adds.

"Well I don't know what else I can do, I'm mad about it too."

"Did your dad email the coach?" John asks.

"Nah, but he said he will, I gotta give him a break, he's been pretty stressed." Just as we were talking I saw my two nerdy little brothers and Mikey's friend come up to us.

"Hey it's Mikey!" Danny says while ruffling his curls.

"Dude leave it!" Mikey whines.

"Or what?" I say.

"N n n nothing." Mikey responds. Danny puts him in a headlock and John puts Justin in a headlock.

"Yo Ty, we got permission to give them a noogie and a wet willie?" John asks.

"Yeah I don't give a shit." I say while laughing. Once I said that they delivered on what John said and gave both my brothers a noogie and a wet willie. They both squirm and tell them to stop but Danny nor John budged. I look to see Johnny who tries to open up his mouth.

"You got anything to say?!" I ask him.

"No, sorry."

"Yeah good, you're not annoying yet so keep it that way."

"Ty tell them to lay off!" Justin yells.

"Alright alright I think they had enough." I tell Danny and John.

"That's what you get for having to miss practice and the game." John tells Justin.

"I'm not missing shit, why did I deserve that?" Mikey asks.

"Cause it's just fun fucking with you." Danny adds.

"Whatever." I hear Mikey mumble.

"Speak it with your chest Mikey." I tell him.

"W w what I didn't say anything."

"Yeah uh huh. Anyway where is this shithead at?"

"He is standing right in front me." Justin says while pointing at me. That earns him a nut check from yours truly.

"Yeah you're not laughing now huh? Anyway I meant Jay. Does anyone know where he is?"

"I don't know." Justin says while gasping for air.

"There he is." Danny says pointing past Mikey, Johnny and Justin.

"Where the hell were you???!" I yell.

"Jesus, can't I take a piss???"

"Whatever, come on we got to go so dad won't get pissy at us for being late. Bye Danny, bye John." I say as we all start to leave.

"Bye!" They both say back.

Me, my brothers and Johnny all leave to start walking towards our street. The walk was fine, it was honestly just Mikey and Johnny talking about some nerdy shit and then Mikey and Johnny getting made fun of by Jay and I for talking about the nerdy shit. When we got to our house we saw dad in the front smoking a cigar while talking on the phone.

"Hey boys! Hey Johnny." Dad exclaimed.

We all waved and Johnny said hi back to our dad. We all then said bye to Johnny and Johnny said bye back and then he walked down the block to his house.

"Cya on Monday Johnny!" Mikey yells.

"Cya Monday!" Johnny yells back a few houses down.

"Alright boys go inside and put your book bags away so we can start hitting the road." My dad says. We do exactly that and then we all get into the car. I made sure to let my brothers know I'm getting shotgun and that's final to avoid another brawl like the last one. I don't want dad to be too stressed before we even reach my cousins house. Because once we get there that's when true chaos will ensue.
