Mikey's Pov:
Todays Monday and I hate Mondays, Mondays suck! I am not excited to go back to school. I was so tired and I did not feel like getting up but I knew I had to so my dad wouldn't hound me. I got up out of bed and saw Justin was still knocked out. I went to open my door and go to the bathroom until I bumped into Jay.
"S s sorry, I didn't mean to bump into you." I said with fear instilled in my body. I could tell he was not in a good mood right now so I didn't want to egg that on.
"Whatever." He mumbles to himself while bumping into me on purpose. He walked into the bathroom and slammed the door shut. Wow no swirlies or anything, maybe this day won't be as bad as I originally thought.
"Good morning." I say to Ty who is at the table eating toast and texting on his phone.
"Sup." He says with his mouth full of food.
"Dude that's gross."
"So?" He says while still looking at his phone.
"Dude, I don't want to see the food in your mouth while you speak."
"So don't ask me a question."
"But you could've just answered me after you chewed your food."
"Uh huh, whatever." Ty says while shrugging and still being glued to his phone. I started to make some food and I ate it. The rest of the morning wasn't terrible as I just got ready for school and then dad finally came down to let us know he is going to work. At this point everyone was up and in the main area of the house. Ty and I were in the living room watching some tv. We were watching the football highlights. I tried putting on one of my favorite animated shows of all time, "Avatar The Last Airbender," but Ty snatched the remote out of my hand to make sure we weren't watching it. That's usually how it is. I only get to watch my shows on my phone, never on the big tv we have. While we were watching tv, Jay and Justin were eating in the dining room which is right behind our living room.
"Alright boys listen up." Dad says while fixing his tie. Tyson muted the tv and Jay and Justin had fixed eyes on him. The way dad could get us to all listen to him instantly is kind of a scary but a really cool sight. I kind of wish I had that power. Whenever my brothers are arguing or talking over each other I'd love to have the ability to stop them. Or even have the ability to get them to listen to me sometimes.
"Alright I'm heading off to work, Justin, Ty and Jay, all three of you have practice after school and make sure Mikey is with you."
"What dad?! Why can't I just walk home with Johnny?!" I exclaim.
"Because you're not walking by yourself."
"But the house isn't that far, and plus I'm walking with Joh-"
"I already gave my reason and that's it." Dad tells me sternly.
"Aww can't wait to chuck a football at your face." Jay says teasing me.
"Shutup!" I scream back.
"You Shutup! You know I was joking but now I might actually spike the football right at your big head!" Jay spits back.
"Alright enough! Now I have to get to work. Try not to kill each other before getting to school. Okay?" Dad asks.
"Okay." We all groan. Dad leaves and left me alone with my brothers. I really dreaded going to this football practice with my brothers. I just wanted to come home and probably have Johnny over and play some videogames. It would've been perfect too because I wouldn't have to worry about my brothers for a couple of hours while they were at practice.
