DANIEL'S POV
***
August 13, 2013Great I basically move all across the country just cuz mom didn't want to see dad anymore.
Divorce is weird.
They decided that Jack will stay with my dad for 2 years while Alex and I stay with my mom for the same 2 years. After those years are up, Alex and I go to Minnesota with dad.
I somewhat feel bad. I haven't written in my journal for months. I found it again when we were packing. And now that I'm in Los Angeles, I can write about my new life here. About the beaches, the weather, the food, the girls.
Well mom found an apartment for us to live in. I think she found a job, but I'm not really sure. So she said that when she starts getting enough money we'll move into a house. So Alex needs to look for a job. Im still not able to since I'm 13. But I really want to help out.
Well either way. Today is my first day at my new school. Well it's going to be the first day for some others kids, but its still the same. So that's all I'm going to write for today, since I have to go to school now.

"Dan, c'mon hurry up." Alex said.
So turns out that mom is still looking for a full-time job since she's still going to interviews. So that means Alex and I have to walk to school.
I was already nervous as we turned the corner. I looked over at Alex, he had a smile in his face. He's actually happy that we moved. He gets to start over. I wish I can... but it feels like I can't.
Alex noticed I was glaring at him. "You're nervous aren't you?" I nodded my head. I was really nervous. I'm my good at making friends.
The only had one friend back at Minnesota, Spencer. He didnt go to my school but we was my neighbor, so I still saw him everyday.
"Okay, I know you're nervous. But, change yourself. Act a different way, change the way you dress, your hairstyle or something. Nobody has to know your story. But I see how nervous you are, uhhh, go to the restrooms. Hide there, catch your breath, think of what you're going to say. Then when the bell rings, go to your first class and let the people go to you. No one is going to know the truth about you, unless you tell them. But remember. Always check your surroundings." Alex advised as we were going to step right into the school.
"Bye little bro, see you after school." he said as he walked into the other direction.
I stood there, I didn't really know anybody yet, I didn't even know where the bathroom was. For all I know is that it's going to be crowded since its the first day. I began walking around keeping my head down, but still tying to find the restrooms. I saw where the lockers were and by the end of the corner I found the restrooms, I walked in, lucky to find only 2 people there. I walked into a stall and locked it.

"Get to class. Everyone, get out of the restrooms and head to your first class." Someone with a loud voice said.
I walked out of the stalls, washed my hands, and left.
Oh great. I should've gotten out of class before the bell rang to look for my class. I also should've stayed out of the way from the crowds.
I hate myself .
I looked around and when I found someone that wasn't wearing uniform, I walked up to them. "Uh... excuse me sir. But can you help me look for my class. It's my first day here, and I still don't know my way around." I said as innocent as possible.
