Nyssa's P.O.V

I was in a place of death, of fear. Me and my team we on Lian Yu, we weren't there for a mission or a target. We were sure someone would need our help there on purgatory and so we were going to travel around Asia and look for someone in need. Normally we'd have a target, but for the next few months or so we would be helping random people who needed it.
Suddenly we heard footsteps, they weren't casual they were running. Someone on this island was running, running from someone or something. I alerted my men and ordered them to follow the person running. I went a different and slightly faster way so that I would hopefully land in front of them. My people began shooting, I could hear there arrows whizzing by. I was running fast, I knew whoever was running would run out of steam and slow down eventually.
I finally caught up, and appeared in front of a woman. She had blonde hair and was dripping with water. She looked startled by my appearance, and I asked her.
"Why were you running?"
"Why were you chasing me?" she asked sarcastically
"Because you were running." I responded, contemplating for a second.
I could tell she was confused.
"That makes no scen-ow!" she said clutching her stomach.
She was injured, but none of my men could have shot her in the stomach, they were shooting from behind her. So wherever she was, she had been hurt. As she fell to the ground I caught her and lifted her into my arms. She was extremely light. I could carry her all the way back to our boat. My team caught up just as I had rose from the ground with the woman, they saw she was injured and one of the members Sarab said,
"We didn't mean to injure her."
"You didn't, she was shot in the stomach or somehow hurt and you were shooting from behind her, no way could you have done this." I said at last.
We would have to postpone our mission and heal this woman back to health. I was planning to take her back to Nanda Parbat and train her to become one of our own.
"We have to hurry and get her to the boat." I said to my team already starting to walk in that direction.
They followed and soon we got to the boat, we boarded it and began to sail away. It would take us nearly a few days to get back to Nanda Parbat and when we did, I would have to work fast to keep her alive.

*2 days later, at Nanda Parbat*

The blonde has been floating in and out of consciousness throughout the time we were on the boat but we made it. As soon as we reached I took the smaller woman and carried her to the medical table where the medically trained assassins took the bullet out of the woman's stomach and thy poured Water from the Lazarus pit on her wound to clear and close. The woman winced and remained unconscious I knew she would wake up soon. I put a blanket over her fragile unhealthily thin frame and waited. I had already informed my father of our guest and I was told to bring her before me for initiation as soon as she had strength to walk. I walked back to the medical table the blonde woman was lying down on and I saw a pair of blue eyes stare back at me. The woman looked so innocent I knew then that she had a tremendous amount of heart.
"How are you feeling?" I asked the blonde.
"I feel like I was run over by a bus, so that translates to sore all over." She responds closing her beautiful eyes.
"I am Nyssa daughter of Ra's Al Ghul, Heir to the Demon's head." I say introducing myself.
"Sara Lance, Shipwrecked from the Queen's Gambit. Been through hell and died twice. Pleased to meet you." She answered with a tint of sarcasm in her melodious voice. I looked at her body to see for any bad injuries it all seemed, sickly, but no injuries besides bruises.
"Can you stand?" I asked Sara as she brought herself to a sitting position.
"I think so." She says standing on her feet and limping towards me.
"Then it is time for you to be brought before my father, this shall decide your faith." I say in a low voice foreign to my own ears. The blonde's expression didn't change she didn't even flinch.
"Let's go then." She said without fear I was starting to grow fond of this Sara. She was fearless, but the reason for that was because of what she had seen and done on that God forsaken island, all that she and witnessed had desensitized her to the horrors she was to witness. The initiation was always the most horrific, she was to witness darkness never before spoken, and never before imagined, she was about to lose the innocence hidden behind those big blue eyes. I was hoping for her sake that she does not quiver before my father, as much as a shake and he will kill her, it was all in her hands, I had no control over the outcome of the demonstration of power my father had prepare for her.
