A/N: So this is totally different compared to my last story but I hope it is still good. Please comment, i need the constructive criticism!
"Come on Cali, what's so bad about this?" William Rawlings was referring to the luxurious mansion before them.
"Dad, I don't want to live with your fiancée regardless of the size of her house." Cali rolled her eyes and squished down into the plush leather seats of the bentley.
"Kylie isn't so distraught. Try to be more like her."
Cali glanced back at her younger sister who was glued to her iPhone. She scoffed, Kylie was like that so she wouldn't have to participate in this ridiculous debacle. A young, tan and tall women strutted down the steps of the mansion, cautious not to trip in her Prada kitten heels.
"Will baby! What are you doing sitting there? Come in." She flicked her bleach blonde hair off her shoulder and waved at them with her perfectly manicured hand.
"Cali, please try to at least be pleasant with Evelyn." Will adjusted his powder blue Peter Millar sport jacket and stepped outside. Will and Evelyn said hello with a deep kiss.
"At least we get to live in a mansion. In Beverly Hills no less." Kylie sighed. Her thick auburn locks were tied in a messy bun atop her head. Nothing like Cali's silky jet black hair that hung just above her butt.
"Come on Cali, sitting here isn't going to help." Kylie grabbed her Prada and Fendi bags and trudged out of the car. 'I guess I really have no choice.' Cali thought, and with a groan, walked into the mansion. The smell of perfume and expensive leather instantly greeted them as they entered. Cali marveled at the grand foyer and winding marble staircase. The estate was adorned with real leather couches and dark mahogany furniture. Paintings from all over the world lined the deep copper walls and the elegant center fireplace.
"Welcome home! What do you think?" Evelyn giggled. She wrapped her arm around Will affectionately. Cali and Kylie shared an eye roll.
"You have a nice home. Is your family rich, because I don't remember anything about you ever having a job?" Cali smirked. Kylie stifled a giggle as William glared and Evelyn maintained her composure.
"Cali! Be more respectful and watch your mouth!" William scolded.
"Will honey it's fine," Evelyn breathed deeply. "Yes my family is very rich, and I did have a job."
"That your daddy gave you." Cali mumbled.
"Cali! Dammit!"
"Will calm down. Girls, your rooms are upstairs. Jenny!" Evelyn screamed making Cali and Kylie flinch. A short stout maid came shuffling in.
"Yes?" Her voice was incredibly soft, matching her soft demeanor.
"Please show the girls to their rooms. Oh and have Connor fetch their things." Evelyn forced a curt smile before dragging Will off in the opposite direction.
"This way." Jenny mumbled.
"Work here long?" Cali smiled at the shy girl.
"Just over a year, right after I graduated high school."
"Do you like it here?" Kylie asked.
"It's work so I can't complain. Evelyn is pretty nice, better than most." Jenny kept her eyes on the floor.
They headed up the long staircase. Jenny stopped in front of two large doors, one with a gold C hung on it, and a K on the other.
"Here you are, opposite each other. Need anything just call." Jenny smiled and hurried off before the girls could thank her. The girls pushed open the large doors. Both had giant rooms already lavished with the best furniture and decor. Cali however, being the eldest daughter, had a balcony overlooking the glamorous hillside. She stepped into her closet that could be a room all its own.
"This I could get used to." Cali muttered to herself. She flung herself onto the plush giant bed and cuddled in the Egyptian sheets. They always had money, but this was beyond that. There was a knock at the door. Cali looked up to see a tall muscular man with sun blonde hair at her door.
"These yours?" He had a thick southern accent that dripped over Cali.
"Uh yeah." Cali mumbled edging toward her bags. He pulled away, heading to the closet.
"Don't worry about it. It's my job to unpack these."
"That's really unnecessary." Cali interjected. She eyed her Victoria's Secret bag nervously, she didn't want him to go through her underwear.
"It's fine." He said sternly. "Besides, Evelyn wants you down by the pool."
Cali reluctantly gave in and headed out. The pool was olympic sized, with stones lining the walkway. Evelyn was sprawled out on a beach recliner in a hot pink Gucci bikini, her obviously fake breasts barely held in.
"Cali darlin'!" Evelyn beckoned. Cali groaned, walking right past her and over to the dinner buffet lined at the bar. She picked at the sushi. Will, with a margarita in hand, nudged Cali.
"Excited to start school tomorrow?"
Cali spit the sushi out of her mouth and straight into her father's face.
"What!?"
"Halstrom Academy. You and Kylie start tomorrow." Will said with a smile.
"Another thing to ruin my life. Great job dad, and short notice too. Marrying a dumb bimbo and moving Kylie and me across the country away from our mother to live with the woman that is half your age wasn't enough?" Cali spat and stormed off making sure to shoot Evelyn a well deserved glare.
'Isn't this delightful?' Will thought wiping the sushi from his face.

Cali stared intently at the mirror before her. She touched up her cherry matte lipstick and slick black eyeliner. She adjusted the black velvet choker around her tan neck. Dressed in her ripped True Religion jeans and Marcelo Burlon vintage sweatshirt, and her nike hightops. 'As good as it gets.' Cali shrugged and headed downstairs. Kylie, dressed in floral print leggings, Alice+Olivia oversized sweater and Steve Madden flats, hurried to finish braiding her hair.
"Almost ready Cali?" She slung her Fendi bag on her shoulder, handing Cali her Prada backpack.
Cali groaned,"Ready as I'll ever be."
"Cali!" Evelyn squealed. Her silk slip showed off her fake boobs once again.
"I got you a first day of school gift." She dangled keys in front her face, the corvette symbol glinting in front of her. Evelyn winked,"Have a great day!"
Cali reveled at the sleek red paint of the 2015 Corvette Zo6 parked in the driveway.
"Gotta give the hoe props for trying." Kylie snickered running her fingers over the soft leather seats. Cali pulled out of the driveway, the engine roaring. "Let's get this shitty day over with."

Halstrom Academy looked more like an elaborate English castle, buzzing with Beverly Hills' most elite teens. Cali pulled into a parking spot next to a 2015 Lamborghini Avantador. A group of guys in polo shirts and khaki pants filed out of the car. A tall tan boy with neat chocolate hair and striking blue eyes rested on the hood of the corvette.
"What is this fucker doing?" Cali grumbled flipping him the bird.
"Nice car. You are new here aren't you?" He didn't budge his perfect butt from her car. Cali stepped out, a smirk plastered to her face.
"No shit. Now get the hell off my car."
He stepped back, hands up in mock surrender. He smiled deviously showing off his picture perfect pearly whites.
"Such horrible language for such a pretty girl. I'm Garrett Vernon, captain of the lacrosse team."
Cali whisked her hair over her shoulder.
"Good for you. Don't ever touch my car again." She linked her arm in Kylie's, who was laughing like a maniac, and sauntered off to class. Garrett Vernon's eyes following.
