Before dying Mio allowed to transfer her ritsuka semblance to him boosting his semblance twice the power it was which also caused his eye and hair to change color. Kj never blamed weiss for mios death stating that it's tge risk mio knew could happen. He and his companion Zoe explored around the world being the hero he promised, often taking jobs Weiss and SED. However he suffers from nightmares and often sees mios spirit due to his link with her semblance.
