I sat for about 2 minutes until a boy came rushing down the corridor. He had rustic brown hair and brown eyes. He had elfish features and a... I don't know how to put it, a boopable nose? You know, thin and pointed but a tad rounded at the end, I don't know. His uniform looked like it was put on in a rush. He wore a orange shirt instead of the issued one, and a leather bead necklace. I have noticed that the students here either have a tattoo thing on their fore-arm or a beaded leather necklace. I find it odd.
"Travis, this is Nico. He is a new student who doesn't speak English only Italian. Do you think you can take him to his Art period since Ms. Aggio has a class?" She asked. He looked at me then nodded.
"Sure, if I won't get tonight's maths homework." He smirked.
"Don't push it Stoll. Don't get him into any trouble either okay?" She sighed. He put his hands up defensively.
"Okay." He said. Ms. Smith smiled at me then got back to doing what ever she was doing.
"I'm Travis, Travis Stoll. I'll be taking you to your Art class." He told me in really fluent Italian. Annabeth spoke Italian, but stuttered and hesitated a few times but he just went about it so smoothly.
"Hi, I'm Nico." I responded. He nodded and told me to follow him.
I followed him down a few corridors and up a flight of stairs before we started any conversation.
"So, got any interests?" He asked me. I nodded.
"I draw." I answered.
"Oh, very cool, I like to prank people with my brother Connor." He said proudly. "What part of Italy did you live in?" He asked a second later.
"Rome." I answered. He studied my face for a second, eyes a tad wide, before he nodded.
Soon he stopped in front of a very colourful door with the name Ms. Stella written in big hand writing.
"This is the Art room. A tip for before you go in; Ms. Stella is a bit woohoo." He said, doing the thing with his finger making a circular motion beside his head.
"Okay, thank you." I said, slightly waving as he smiled and walked away.
I opened the door to hear the small buzz of people talking. I looked around the classroom and it was decked out in rainbow décor. All of the students were working on some sort of project. It must have been some thing a little difficult because no one took any time to look up at my late arrival. I looked towards the back to see who I assumed was Ms. Stella.
I walked slowly over to her brightly coloured desk. She was sitting in her seat reading a book. She didn't seem to notice me so I cleared my throat, rolling on the balls of my feet.
She looked up and smiled really big.
"You're Nico right? I'm Ms. Stella, the Art teacher!" She said, smiling impossibly bigger. I nodded when I heard her ask if I was Nico.
"Welcome, welcome, you can go have a seat over by...... " She looked around the classroom a bit before her eyes landed on a girl with long dark brown hair who was sitting alone working on a project. "Ah, you can go sit by Reyna." She nodded, smiling. At the sound of her name the girl looked up puzzled.
I recognized the phrase "-go sit by", so I slowly walked over to the girl and sat a seat away from her. She looked at me a second then started back on focusing on her task at hand.
I, being a new student in the middle of the year didn't know what we were doing. So I attempted to ask what we were supposed to do.
"Eh, w-what.. d-do we... do?" I asked her slowly.
