Chapter 06

After me and Calum arguing at the front step and Carline watching, Kim drove by.

When she got out the car, she noticed me cry and rushed over.

I hugged her tighter than I ever hugged anyone before.

"Please Cayla I'm sorry.

I just don't understand what I did," Calum said.

I pulled away from Kim, and slowly turned around.

"I walked in and saw you kiss my enemy. Can you understand that she hates me. When you stopped 'doing your thing', she tried to continue like I wasn't there. Honestly I'm really pissed about this. I know you're confused, and I am too. But I just really need a break Cal," he still had a confused look on his face.

The truth is that I like him.

But I just don't want to tell him, and seeing him with her made me mad.

He already has a girlfriend, I don't want to get into that.

She already hates me enough.

I turned around and walked to the car.

I opened the door. I turned around one last time to get a look at him.

He had his chin in his hands.

He looked at me and slowly closed his eyes.

I honestly felt so bad for him.

He was really confused.

I walked up to him.

"Look, when I get to her house, I'll tell you most of the things of why I'm mad on the phone. Okay." I told him, like he was my own child.

"I want to know everything, Cayla. Please just tell me why I made you mad," he pleaded.

I stared into his dark brown eyes.

Before I got lost in them somehow, I looked away.

"Hey did you dye your hair?" He asked.

I rolled my eyes with a smile.

I walked to the car and got in.

"Bye Cal," I said as I closed the door.

Kim walked to the other side of the car.

She got in.
