*Phone ringing*
"Are you seriously still asleep?! Wake up!" Jisoo screams over the phone.
Shocked by the volume of the caller, Jennie was immediately awakened, "How can I possibly be asleep with your voice in my ear? What is it?"
"Come into the office, I have a new job to run through with you." Jisoo sounded serious.
Jennie is a consultant and tutor. Her role involves guiding and teaching people how to be independent, get back on their two feet, have a "normal life".
She had just closed one job a week ago and was hoping to get at least a month break. Afterall, her last job required a lot of attention and guidance. She has helped people from all walks of life, from an ex-convict to a millionaire's daughter. She could handle anyone.
As Jennie walked towards Jisoo's office later that afternoon, she couldn't help but feel that this job would be different. Her stomach felt twisted and she felt nervous.
"I'm here!" Jennie proclaimed with outstretched arms as she entered Jisoo's office.
Rolling her eyes, Jisoo replied, "about damn time! This is going to be the biggest job you'll ever get."
"Really? Bigger than the millionaire's twin daughters? Gosh they were a handful. If it wasn't because the pay was good, I would have given up." Jennie shivered as she recalled the events of that 3 month long project.
"This is definitely bigger than that." Jisoo leaned forward, resting her elbows on her desk. "She's Princess Lalisa Manoban."
Jennie sat there, wide eyed by the information she is getting.
"She turned 21 about 5 months ago. And as you know, she will then have to go through a 4 months journey outside of the palace to learn to do things on her own. She will arrive at the cottage behind yours in 2 days." Jisoo continued.
"A-are you sure you want me to take this job? I-i mean she's the Princess. A-and I'm not sure if I'm the best person to guide her." Jennie was not the type to doubt her capabilities. But this was different.
"Wait- is she going to be working in the field like everyone else?" Jennie enquired. Jisoo responded with a nod.
"Oh boy, it's going to be a hard 4 months for our Princess huh?" Jennie let out a chuckle.
With her file in hand which includes all of Princess Lalisa's information and instructions for her for the next 4 months, Jennie headed home.
