Bad day

Kojiro's POV:

I was driving home after having the longest day ever. The restaurant was packed and we were short staff, so we got lots of complaints their meals were taking too long. I was so stressed I burned up my hands and forearms while cooking. I have the day off with Kaoru tomorrow, though. So I'm really excited for that. Cherry was already home, so I got to hang out with him right away.

Cherry's POV:
I was upstairs reading a book, when suddenly I heard the door slam open and pounding footsteps. Kojiro must be upset, I thought. "Kojiro honey, you down there?" I called out from our bedroom. "Yes sweetheart I'll be there in a second!" He yelled back. I heard him stomped up the stairs then he opened the door. His hair was an absolute mess, his apron hanging from his waist, he was pretty sweaty, and it looked like he had burns all over his hands and forearms.
"Oh my god Joe, you look like hell." I remarked, which earned me an eye roll from Kojiro, which I chuckled back. "Kojiro, what happened to you?!" I said, getting up and tracing his burns with my finger. "Long day at work." He replied.

"Let's get these burns cleaned up honey." He nodded and followed me to the bathroom. I got a cotton ball and pored hydrogen peroxide on it. I held his hand and told him so squeeze my hand if it stung. I started dabbing the burns with the cotton ball. Kojiro winced and squeezed my hand. "I'm sorry baby, I'm almost done." "It's okay." He responded. When that was done, I dried his sweaty forehead, neck, and arms. I wrapped his arms in bandages with healing ointment then took him back to our bedroom.
"God your so pushy." He remarked. "Shut up I'm talking care of you." I responded. "Is it okay if I help you change your clothes?" I asked. "Yes of course." He answered while a soft smile appeared on his face. Not a seductive or devilish smile, a pure smile that was full of love. God, when he looks at me like that I feel like I could melt. He's so handsome.

I untied his apron and unbuttoned his shirt, then threw them into the dirty clothes basket. I got one of his T-shirts and helped him getting it on, not wanting to hurt his burns. "Can you get your jeans or will that hurt your hands?" I asked. He scratched the back of his neck and blushed. "U-um, I probably can't do it." He admitted. "That's fine, I'll get them." I said. I unzipped his fly and undid the button while he kicked them off. "I can just stay in my boxers." He said, still a little red. "Ok honey." I said lying on the bed. "Come here." I said, motioning him over. He walked over for the bed, spreading my legs so he could lay between them (NOT IN A WIERD WAY). He laid between my thighs and rested his head on my chest.
"Thank you, Kaoru." He said, rubbing his finger on my chest. "Even if your a dopey gorilla, I still have to take care of you. Your welcome, Kojiro." I responded, blushing a little. He lifted his head up, then pulled me into a sweet kiss, which I kissed back. The kiss lasted a few seconds, then he pulled away. We looked into each others eyes, then he laid on my chest again. My hands found their way into his and hair and started playing with it. I brushed through it, detangling it. I decided to put it in a little ponytail so it stayed out of his face. I got the hair band off my wrist and tied it in his green locks. "You're such a big baby." I chuckled. "Only with you." He responded, sleepily. I started to massage his shoulders and arms to relax his muscles from his long day. He wrapped his arms around my waist and nuzzled into my neck. "Are you feeling any better?" I asked. "Yea, thank you a lot Kaoru, this was really nice of you." I wanted to make a sarcastic comeback, but this was such a beautiful moment I didn't wanna ruin it. "Of course, Kojiro. You can always tell me if something's wrong and I'll be here for you, even if I'm a bitch sometimes." I said, turning a bit pink. He laid a small kiss on my neck, then kissed my lips. I kissed back, then we both pulled away. He looked up at my again then tucked some hair behind my ears. He then placed a hand on my cheek, which I leaned into his touch. "Your so beautiful, Kaoru." He said. "Your so handsome, Kojiro." I said back. I placed a small peck onto his lips then pushed him back onto my chest. "Get some rest honey, you need it." I said. "God I love you Kaoru." He said into my chest. "I love you too, Kojiro."
After about ten minutes, he fell asleep on my chest. I grabbed his left hand and kissed the ring placed on his ring finger. God, I love this man. And he loves me too.
