"Shiva."
"It's a secret branch of the European government. But not only exclusive to Europe, portions of it are spread out across the globe. Having locations in Canada, China, and Germany. Likely the reason they were able to find out where Chris Decker and Livie Taylor lived, both in their respective realities. As well as why they took their families."
"Chris Decker had urged caution the moment I told him of the app that can change time and create parallel worlds that supported the changes, but how they were able to locate us, I still don't know."
"With enough power and mastering time travel, they could change events in history. They'll erase figures from history, just like it was done in the reality Chris came from."
"Conforming the world into their single way of thinking. Bringing the destruction of the truths, freedom that makes us who we are, controlling information and individual thoughts and memory. This world Chris lives is not far off from our own. For him, it started in 2020 and still goes on."
"It's a future Chris and Livie hope to prevent from existing. They called out to anyone willing to listen, and of all people I was the one that responded."
Slowly laying a hand over his wound from the gunshot. Akira did his best to apply pressure, but in doing so he only ended up coughing up blood. Through his blurry vision, he could still see Saki being taken by the soldiers kicking and screaming, calling Akira's name.
"S... Saki..."
Too badly hurt and suffering from the pain, even Akira didn't know if he said that or thought it.
Eventually a figure came into his line of sight. Coming closer, Akira could tell it was Baylor, looking down at Akira with a rather pleased expression, "If you're looking for someone to blame, why not blame yourself? Acting so rash is what got your little friends killed, see?"
"Unfortunately, it looks like you'll be joining them. No matter, Saki still can be useful."
Using what strength he could, Akira grabbed Baylor's leg with his other arm, but because of his fleeting strength, Baylor was able to break away without much force. Another soldier then entered the room, getting Baylor's attention, "The girl, she's in the car?" Baylor asked, but the soldier gave no response, instead pointing his own gun at Baylor and removing the mask, revealing himself as Reiji. For a moment, Baylor was surprised, but it quickly faded as he let out a small chuckle.
"Sanada? Good to see you again, then this is where you went off to." Baylor laughed, "Working at a little junk shop? You know I've preferred the quiet life, Jacobs."
Reiji then turned his attention to Akira, "I overheard the conversation, Akira. This entire time, you've been learning time travel. All this time... I don't know how you do it, but use it now. Stop all this from happening again."
Doing as Reiji said, Akira reached into his pocket, pulling out his phone and activating Labrys. Seeing this, Baylor knocked the gun away from Reiji and kicked him away before turning his attention on Akira, attempting to grab his phone, but Reiji got up faster than anticipated and grabbed Baylor's legs, causing him to trip and quickly pulled him away from Akira.
"Do what you have to Akira!" Reiji yelled, "R... Reiji..."
"Dammit! Do as I say Akira! Go back and stop this! Find me! Convince me to help you!"
Putting his thumb on the dial, Akira turned it as far as he could before his hand gave out. But it was all he needed to do as his phone began to shake more and more. A blinding light appeared, forcing Akira to close his eyes and electricity began to shoot out from it in all directions. No longer was Akira in his apartment. Instead finding himself in what could only be called a new plane of existence.
