In the university lab

Victoria pov

I stood there the septer in hand as I looked at the person I had hit. I had hit a woman. "Oh dear are you dead" I said as I stepped forward to the unconscious woman.

"One step closer and your dead" said the unknown woman. "Oh joy you aren't dead" I said dryly. I finally looked at the person and I dropped my septer. "Maria" I said in a whisper hoping she wouldn't hear me but she did.

"Victoria Odindottir nice to see you again" Maria said sarcastically. "Agent Hill what brings you to my lab and where is the rest of your gang did they leave you" I said as I leaned against the lab desk.

"Doctor we need you and to answer your question no they didn't leave they just have other important matters to deal with" Maria said. "Why do you need me haven't I done enough for SHIELD" I said dryly.

"We're facing a global catastrophe doctor" Maria said as she stepped closer to me. "This is the Tesseract I'm sure you've heard of it" Maria said.

"I have and how is this on Midgard this should be on Asgard" I said as I began to pace the lab. "We're trying to harness its powers to make renewable energy" Maria said.

"Then who took your precious Tesseract then Hill" I said as I pursed my lips together and smiled. "Loki of Asgard he's not from" Maria said as she got cutoff. "Loki did this. Unbelievable he's trying to get revenge damn it" I said as I slammed my hand on the desk.

"Calm down Tori" Maria said as her gun was pointed at me. "Drop it Hill" I said as fire began to emerge from my eyes. "Victoria don't do this your angry I get it but don't burn the lab down" Maria said as she stepped closer to me.

"Don't. Move back please" I said quietly. "Tori please we've known each other for a while now I've seen you like this let me help" Maria said.

"Don't call me Tori" I yelled. "Why not" Maria challenged. "Only my brothers are allowed to do so" I said.

Maria pov

"Okay fine Victoria I wont call you that but we still need you to help us find the Tesseract. It emits a low gamma radiation and your one of the only people I know who knows more about gamma radiation" I said.

"So Fury just needs me find the Tesseract not to fight" Victoria asked quietly. "Not that I know of Victoria" I said calmly. "He tells you everything your his right hand woman correct . So you should everything" Victoria said calmly almost as if it was a whisper.

"I only know the things Fury let's me know of Doctor" I said having my hand on the gun. "So he doesn't want me to be the goddess just regular me no restraints or anything" Victoria says as she looks at me. "He just wants you Victoria nothing else" I said.

Victoria tilts her head and gives me a smile. I know her enough to know when she does that it usually results in a disaster occurring.

"Agent Hill stop lying to me" Victoria said as she makes a fire ball. I reach for my gun and point it at her. She smiles at me and puts her hands in the air to show she means no harm.

"Drop the weapon I just wanted to see how you'd react if I decided to show my powers" Victoria says.

Victoria pov

The gun was still pointed at me. "You are in no position to tell me what to do" Maria said. "How about you drop your gun and I don't have to use my fire magic and make a mess" I said softly.
