Today was finally the day that you were supposed to meet Connie's family. You were so nervous the night before that you barely slept. You were currently in the closet trying to pick out an outfit.
"Come back to bed baby," Connie says in a sleepy voice. "I have to pick out a decent outfit for later," you say. "You're overthinking this babe. Just come back to bed and I'll help you find one later," Connie says getting out the bed and walking over to you. He gently picks you up and carries you back to bed. He lays you on your back and lays on top of you so you couldn't get back up. "Just relax baby. My mom is gonna love you," Connie says turning the light off then kissing your cheek. You hum in response and close your eyes to try and relax. Connie holds you tighter and falls asleep and a few minutes later you do the same.

Connie woke up before you, so he decided to pick out a few outfits for you to choose from. He picked out a grey long sleeve sundress, a black sweater and a pair of jeans, and a long sleeve shirt and a pair of ripped jeans. After he does that, he goes to get in the shower. 'I'm so happy she's finally meeting my mom. I hope tonight's the right time to finally ask her to be my girlfriend.' Connie thinks to himself. You wake up and get out the bed. You walk to the end of the bed and notice he picked out a few outfits for you. You smile to yourself at the thought of Connie picking out an outfit just for you to wear. You decide to put on the black sweater and jeans and a pair of nikes.
A few minutes late, Connie walks out the bathroom. "Did you like my choices?" You giggle and nod. "Yes Con. I picked the sweater," you say walking over to Connie. Connie grins and kisses you. "Good. Now we can match," Connie says giggling. "Imma go shower now," you say. Connie hums in response and walks over to the nightstand. He makes sure that you were in the shower before he picks up his phone and calls Sara. "Hello?" Sara says. "Hey sis, I think tonight's the night I'm gonna ask the question," Connie says. "Wait you're gonna propose?" Connie laughs. "No not yet. I'm just gonna ask her to be my girlfriend." "Omgggg Connnn. You're so in loveeeee. But I'll help make sure everything is right," Sara says. " I wanna ask the question outside. So I want there to be candles and flowers," Connie says playing with his nose ring. "Awwwww, this is gonna be so cute! I'll ask Terra and mom if they can get the flowers," Sara says. Connie hums in response. "Ight thanks sis. I'll see you later." "Bye Connn," Sara says hanging up. Connie chuckles and continues getting dressed.

You and Connie were on the way to Terra's house. You were getting so nervous about meeting Connie's mom. Connie could tell that you were nervous, so he rested his hand on your lap. "My mom's so excited to finally meet you. And you get to see Terra again," Connie says trying to ease your mind. "I missed Terra so much. Does she still live in the same house?" Connie shakes his head. "Nah. Remember that neighborhood we drove through the other day? She lives in one of those houses now." You stay silent and try to remember the neighborhood. "Ohhhhh I know where you're talking about now. Those houses are really nice," you say playing with Connie's fingers. Connie hums in response and turns into the neighborhood. He drives to the end of the street and parks the car in the driveway next to Sara's car.
"Yay Sara's here!" You say unfastening your seatbelt. Connie chuckles and gets out the car. He walks over to your side of the car and opens the door for you. Connie intertwines his fingers with yours as y'all walk to the front door. You take a deep breath and close your eyes. Connie kisses your forehead then rings the doorbell. "Everything's gonna be fine amor," Connie says. You nod and hold Connie's hand tighter. Sara comes to the door and opens it. "Omgggg Y/nnnnnnn! I haven't seen you in forever," Sara says as she hugs you tightly. "I know riighttttt!" While y'all were hugging, she winked at Connie to let him know that everything was set up for later. Connie grins and nods. "Come in I'll show you around," Sara says. You and Connie follow Sara into the house. "I'll show you upstairs first," Sara says looking at Connie. Connie gets the hint and nods. "Imma run to the bathroom real quick. I'll be back," Connie says. Connie walks down the hall and out onto the patio. He follows the path and walks further into the backyard.
