You and Tanjiro have been demon slayers for a bit you about a year longer than him. You two are very close tho. Going on a few missions together you two have made a close bond by fighting by each other's side. You've also become accustomed to Nezuko- despite her being a demon. You and Tanjiro went on a mission together to kill a demon you two ended up fighting lower 2 (I'm gonna start near the end of the battle)

Tanjiro rushes towards the demon missing his neck but cutting off his arm with sun breathing, "YOU BRAT! HOW DARE YOU CUT OFF MY ARM!" the demon howled with a look of anger in his eyes he regrows his arm and slashes at Tanjiro with his long poisonous claws. You dash forwards taking the hit but right as you get in front of Tanjiro you use "いち の かた: じん せんぷ ‐ そぎ, Ichi no kata: Jin Senpū - Sogi, First form, dust whirlwind cutter" spinning your body making a series of horizontal cuts on the demons body gradually working you way up to his head once you reach his neck you slice his head off making it roll in the other direction.

Well walking over to see the demons head you misstep and you here a *pop* followed by a *snap* and you fall to the floor yelling "Dam!" As you wince in pain. All your other wounds feel like nothing compared to the pain you feel in your left ankle. All your other injuries hurt yes, but the sharpness in your ankle is hundreds of times worse. Well this happened Tanjiro was collecting the blood he needs and his sister then your "Dam!" Of pain rings out and he rushes over.

"(Y/N) are you okay?!" He says in a panicked voice well running over to you, "Yeah Tanjiro I'm find just a slight injury nothing to bad." You say as you get up and promptly fall again on your same ankle Tanjiro looks up and See's his crow. "Matsuemon Tennouji come down here!" And his crow lands on his arm that he stretched out, for the crow, "can you call for the kakushi to come so (Y/N) doesn't have to walk on their injured foot?" His crow nods and flys away he looked to you "try not to walk untill your foot is healed!" You look to Tanjiro sigh and submit to what he says "alright I'll stay in place." Responding begrudgingly but your happy he's by your side.

Once the kakushi arrive Tanjiro walked beside you to make sure you were okay.  And after a bit you get to the butterfly estate.

"Alright (Y/N), your ankle is bandaged up. Now please rest for a bit and don't move your ankle." You sit on your bed in a private room with your ankle in a cast and lifted above the rest of your body. And you watch Shinobu sama leave the room. You look up at the ceiling and observe the pattern on the wooden planks above you.

Tanjiro walks in the room and then up to you. "How are you feeling now (Y/N)?" You look at him and say "I'm okay, how are you?" You smile reluctantly. you see his expression change to an empathic frown as he smells your lieing and that you are okay and your still in pain not as severe.

He takes your hand and caresses it. "If you need anything please let me know." He looks at you with a slight smile. You notice Nezuko is not with him. "Tanjiro did you need something?" He looks at you than a expression of remembrance washes over his face, "Oh yeah, I wanted to deliver you something!" You look at him 'what would he need to deliver?' Enters your mind. He slipes his and in his pocket and pull out something wrapped in a pinkish fabric. Your curiosity left you leaning forwards. He let's out a slight laugh as he ask "would you want to open the fabric or would you want me to?" You hold out your previously caressed hand to take the mysterious piece of fabric.

You take the fabric from a smiling Tanjiro. Holding the piece of fabric you feel four things inside you reveal four accessories two earrings and two hair pins. (The following photo)

"When did you get these?!" You exclaim as you remember him staying by your side until he was sent away by Shinobu-sama. "A while ago when we were on different missions I saw them and thought of you!" You feel you cheeks become warm as you put your hands over your face after putting the gift down. "Thanks Tanjiro..." You say through your hands. He takes your hands in his and bring them down so he can see your face he leans forwards and kisses your forehead and smiles at you.

He puts the earrings in for you and gets a chair for himself. You two spend the rest the day together talking about various things. The entire time you two talk he holds your hand.
