(Upper moon 1)

This is a bit before Michikatsu turns into upper moon 1 and about a year after he becomes a demon. You have known him for a while and you been in a relationship for 10 months. He's very sweet but very busy.
*Second Pov*
Well you were cooking lunch you hear a shoji screen door open in the room next to you. You hear a soft rustling in the next room. Well putting what you were chopping into a pot Michikatsu walked into the room with cuts all over his face "WHAT HAPPENED?!" Michikatsu looked at you and says "I did my job." You rush over to observe the cuts (you put down your knife). "Do the cuts not sting?" You say well touching a few. "No they don't sting." Michikatsu manage to say well his face was being squished. He takes you hands and bring them in front of his chest so his face can stop being squished. He looked down at your face, frustrated that he wouldn't let you look at the cuts more closely. He turns away to try and hide his face which had a small smile due to your expression. You ended up giving up and continue making lunch.

At 4 p.m. Michikatsu was talking with you about your and his future, "When you haven't seen me for a while and finally meet me again I'll bring you flowers." "I hope you never have to bring me flowers then" you say with a smile. His crow flies and lands near him. "Demons have been found near mount. Negomu!" Michikatsu sighed and went to get changed. Once he came back he leaned in kissed your forehead and said "I'll be back soon my love." He left shortly after.

After a month of Michikatsu being gone everyone thought that he had died but you held on to hope that he didn't pass on, he did have a funeral but there wasn't a burial because they didn't have a body.
*About a year later*
Well walking home at night you sensed something walking near you but you never see anyone.
After a bit of your checking you walk faster to try and tell yourself your not crazy. After a bit you see a village but this thing never left, "god why won't it leave me." You mutter in a low voice and enter the village to see it's quite lively 'this is the perfect place for a demon' you think to your self and continue on.
You find a Inn in the town "can I have a room?" You ask the owner, "Of course ma'am, how many rooms?" You seem surprised "Onl-" you begin to speak than someone cuts you off "One room ma'am" a familiar voice states. She nods then leads you down a hall you don't look behind you till you get to your room.
Once your in your room you wip around to see, "Michikatsu..." He smiles softly "Hello my dear, how have you been?" Your eyes begin to tear up as you throw yourself at him "Everyone thought you died!" You yell as you both fall to the floor. He sits up with you on his lap "I'm sorry love," your slightly sobbing when he brings out a bouquet of red roses. You take them as you lean your head agest his chest only to feel no heart beat, "What happened in the past year?" Trying to avoid his heart beat. "I'm not sure you'd like me after I tell you." His voice was low and full of regret

Well on his mission Michikatsu ran into a demon he couldn't kill, Muzan, well fighting Michikatsu almost died. Muzan offered him a deal though "If you become a demon you can grow stronger and take revenge on everyone who wronged you." Michikatsu thought of (Y/N) and agreed at 1 condition, "Well (Y/N) is alive I don't have to kill them or anyone they deeply care about." And Muzan agreed to the condition. After a month Michikatsu became strong enough to join the 12 Kizuki but he couldn't use his old name, so he changed it to Kokushibo and became lower 5 (due to being stronger than lower 6). He trained everyday to raise his rank never succeeding. When (Y/N) was out at night he'd watch over them.

"That's about it that happened." Kokushibo ended you couldn't believe what he was saying, becoming a demon just to keep a promise, "You became a demon to keep our promise?" You ask still trying to understand. He sighs "Yes I did, I couldn't just leave you alone though." You smile sadly as you lean into him "Even if it's just for a bit I would like you to stay with me."
You two spend the rest the night cuddling and talking.
